Shinobird (Post-Agov)
Deck Primer
This deck version just trying to just consistantly set up a Stars Align turn one. As much as I like going second, there's a variety of decks that use the same tools but set up better locks or end the game more consistently. Also Yata is a bad card. So with a deck that can run as many consistency tools as spirits, I thought to just run as much as possible. Nikitama is an upstart in most hands, Crane is the only good wind Spirit, and their all level 4 which enables a dugaress play. Dogmatika is half a ritual plus an upstart. This normally somewhere between 2-4 draws per turn, which helps a lot.
Normally, the field spell plus a nothing spirit is 2/3rds of the set up. You just need to be able to grab a singular piece of the combo. Aratama plus the field spell is full combo. Use the field spell to summon the L4 Baron, use its effect to either grab Aratama or the L4 Baroness and Calling(Then use the Aratama to seach said Baroness.) Use Calling to summon the Baroness, then search power spot. In the end phase, the baroness returns to hand triggering both Power Spot and Himigori. Himigori set Stars Align, and power spot search whichever piece of the combo, either the ritual spell or big monster. Unfortunatly, if you don't have both, this set-up is dead. Also, you need to have one of the big monsters in deck as well in order to get Stars align in grave, which is why we run 3 of the big rituals.
This means you can either bounce 3 monsters or Shuffle 3 backrow and sometimes set up an Amano lock. My big issue with running more Amano is that unfortuntlely it is a kind of brick in hand. I keep messing around with its ratio's and its probably best at 2, but I wanted to run some other funny cards so...
The Dogmatika package is fairly self-explantory with it being generic consitency and sending Herald of Arc Light, with the @ignister being there as a 3rd target to send of Nadir/Maximus turn 1, other extra deck bulk is avaliable. So are Ash and Book of Moon. The execption to this decks goal, because I think the card is funny (and the only non-shino WIND Ritual which does anything) is [Raging Storm Dragon - Beaufort IX,] part of what appears to be the 'what can we put on a battle handtrap and make it still god awful' competition which Konami sometimes makes an addition to. Its only summonable by Himigori (The named ritual spell on it is god-awful, requiring exact levels) This ones random benefit to the deck is that it is a) a ritual you can summon first turn sometimes which is an interuption and is a wind monster which triggers both Power Spot and Himigori. Then it also can blank a big monster's attack which is nice.
Overall the deck is exactly one good WIND spirit monster away from being super consitent, but for now, its just a fairly consistent rogue deck that sets up a floodgate. But also runs spirits, which makes it infinitely funnier.
