Sharks is a XYZ focused deck that excels at pumping out XYZ monsters that disrupt your opponent. This deck has to ability to dish out negates, non-targeting destruction, and is a great vessel for Number F0: Utopic Draco Future
Strengths: This deck plays 8 starters, a lot of extenders, multiple cards that recycle resources, and can lock your opponent into water monsters.
Weaknesses:This deck is fragile to most hand traps and extra deck space is very tight.
It is still possible to play around hand traps with the combination of a decent hand and the extra deck.
The two combos below require changes in the extra deck or main deck. Combo One I don’t play the other copies of Bahamut Shark and Toad due to me wanting cards like Valiant Shark Lancer, Number 101: Silent Honor ARK, and Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark for utility. For combo two I don’t play this combo in the deck at all because it takes up a lot of space and isn’t that good but you can change the deck to fit in these combos.
1.)Normal Summon Buzzsaw Shark and activate its effect summoning any level 4 fish from the deck
2.) Overlay the two fish into Bahamut Shark. Activate Bahamut's effect to summon Toadally Awesome
3.) Overlay Bahamut into Drill Driver Vespenato. XYZ Remora effect in hand, detaching Vespenato’s materials, to summon back both Buzzsaw Shark and its target.
4.)Overlay Buzzsaw Shark and its target to go into the second copy of Bahamut Shark. Bahamut's effect detaching and summoning another Toadally Awesome.
5.)Use Extender here and overlay itself and Xyz Remora into once again another copy of Bahamut Shark, and activate Bahamut's effect to summon Toadally Awesome.
6.)Overlay both Bahamut Sharks for a copy of Number F0: Utopic Future, then overlaying Number F0: Utopic Future into Number F0: Utopic Future Dragon.
Because I don’t play the other copy of Bahamut and toad I replace them with Kragen so the end board would be either 2 pops and one negate or 1 pop with 2 negates
Rank-Up Combo
Buzzsaw shark= Number F0: Utopic Draco Future and a Chaos Number.
1.)Summon Buzzsaw Shark and activate its effect to summon a level 4 fish from deck
2.) Overlay Buzzsaw Shark and its target to summon Bahamut Shark
3.) Detach one material from Bahamut Shark to summon overlay into Number 71: Rebarian Shark
4.) Overlay 71: Rebarian Shark into Full Armored Black Ray Lancer
5.)Use Full Armored Black Ray Lancer and Bahamut Shark to overlay for Utopic Future then overlay into Utopic Draco Future
Follow up
Due to the effect of Rebarian Shark you draw into Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One. Reveal Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One and activate it to summon the chaos version of any number from 101 to 107. I prefer using number c101 because we play the base version already, saving space in the extra deck.
XYZ Remora Combo
2x XYZ Remora+ Buzzsaw shark= Number F0: Utopic Draco Future, 2 Number 4: Stealth Kragen, 2 Toadally Awesome.
1.) Normal summon Buzzsaw Shark and use its effect to summon a fish from deck.
2.) Overlay Buzzsaw Shark with its target to summon Number 4: Stealth Kragen from extra deck
3.) Activate Xyz Remoras effect in hand to detach both materials from Number 4: Stealth Kragen
4.)XYZ Remora when summoned will revive Buzzsaw Shark with its target then overlay into another copy of number 4: Stealth Kragen in the extra monster zone
5.) Activate the second copy of Xyz Remora in your hand to once again detach both materials from Number 4: Stealth Kragen from extra deck
6.)XYZ Remora will summon back Buzzsaw Shark along with its target. Now you will have 4 fish monsters on field which can be used for anything but in this case, it will be used for negates
7.) Use all 4 fishes on field to overlay into two copies of Bahamut Shark. Activate the effect of both Bahamut Sharks to summon two Toadally Awesome
8.) Overlay into Number F0: Utopic Future with the two Bahamut Sharks remaining on field then overlay Number F0: Utopic Future for Number F0: Utopic Draco Future
This combo can also get dumber if you can add Gozen Match to the mix. Gozen states ‘’ Each player can only control 1 Attribute of monster’’ and Kragen makes everything on field a water creating a water lock. Of course, you can also just do Kragen pass with a Gozen on field but why not add 5 disruptions on top of it.
