Power: Low Rogue (6.8/10) - This is cleaner, TCG-legal, and still firmly Kaiba-flavored, but it stays Low Rogue because the Ultimate Dragon fusion package asks you to play Polymerization, Dragon's Mirror, and multiple Blue-Eyes names instead of the leanest modern Blue-Eyes plan.

Consistency: Solid for a theme-first Blue-Eyes build. Sage with Eyes of Blue, the White Stone monsters, Melody of Awakening Dragon, Trade-In, Cards of Consonance, Dragon Shrine, and Bingo Machine, Go!!! all help the deck find bodies or convert bricks into playable hands. Called by the Grave is kept at its legal single copy.

Ceiling: High when the Level 8 engine opens cleanly. Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon pressure boards, while Hope Harbinger, Dingirsu, Cipher Blade, Full Armor Photon, Draglubion, and Numeron Dragon give the deck real Rank 8 closing power. The Fusion package keeps the anime payoff alive through Twin Burst, Neo Ultimate, and Alternative Ultimate Dragon.

Recovery: Decent. Return of the Dragon Lords revives and protects, White Stone of Ancients summons follow-up Blue-Eyes monsters, White Stone of Legend replaces itself, Monster Reborn extends, and Dragon's Mirror converts used materials into a late Fusion push.

Going first/second: Best going second, where Alternative, Solid Dragon, Dark Ruler No More, Evenly Matched, Cosmic Cyclone, Feather Duster, and the Rank 8 package can break boards and threaten damage. Going first, the deck aims for Spirit Dragon, Hope Harbinger, or a protected Blue-Eyes setup, with Anti-Spell Fragrance available from the side.

Choke points: Stop Melody or Sage to reduce access to Blue-Eyes pieces, interrupt Dragon Shrine or White Stone effects before the GY becomes live, banish materials before Return or Dragon's Mirror can convert them, remove Level 8 bodies before Xyz lines, or negate Polymerization/Mirror to strand the Ultimate Dragon plan.

Draglubion brings out Numeron Dragon for the big Kaiba-style finisher. Polymerization or Dragon's Mirror turns Blue-Eyes names into the Ultimate Dragon Fusions, while Twin Burst can also pressure monsters that cannot simply be destroyed.
