Playing Ghoti once again! This time with a more midrangey build (no Coelacanth), since the biggest combo payoffs (Aegirine, Dragite, Chengying, Stealth Kragen, ...) were forbidden in this Theme Chronicle. I know this might not be the most optimal Ghoti build, but it was very fun to play in this event.
Sekka's Light is such a crazy card in a deck like this. You get to go +1 and then you can even cycle another card, potentially shuffling back any garnets you have drawn.
Since Ghoti takes a while to get going when compared to other decks, I tried to lean into the turn 0 shenanigans (by using max copies of Snopios, Shade of the Ghoti, Zep, Ruby of the Ghoti and Hop Ear Squadron, possibly Minairuka as well), so I can try to start combos on the first turn of the game even when going 2nd. Included a few spicy tech cards (Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity + the Penguin package) for some fun!
On the attached video you can see some fun duel replays, as well as some more thoughts on this deck. Feedback is always appreciated. Hope you enjoy it!
