Played like 50 games and this deck is crazy. Sometimes just feels unstoppable, because every card is broken.
Rank 4 pool feels weird. I feel like it has answers to every problem, but they all feel a little underwhelming because Deadnader and its support are so broken.
Going first feels insane because its so hard to pin down with one interaction. You must stop the Duodrive, but even then if you get to Deadnader with an Aggregator and 1-2 handtraps, which is lightwork, you're still favored in so many match-ups including Tenpai, which is broken.
Going second feels fine at best, which is insane, but the deck can play as much good stuff as it wants. There are no bad cards. Palma is bad and that doesn't matter, every other card is so good that you literally don't have to play bad cards in the main deck, so every hand is broken. You can play as many handtraps as you want to slow your opoonent, and balance it with as many boardbreakers and other non-engine you want to supplement it with, even weird meta calls.
This is the list I made with that in mind. Which is broken.
I figured the deck is so simple that I wanted to supplement it with every simple card I could think of. Got a little weird with Ghost Mourner, that was my preference for that slot, but I was really happy with it. Book of Moon was really good, idea was I can set something immune to destruction and then Deadnader pops it, but it turns out the card is still just good against everything. The "Tactics" cards are insane in this deck. The deck is broken because when you use Talents you will almost never be drawing 2. Palma is the only card is the deck that doesn't feel good so im gonna try 2 thrust because every single card in the deck is good, but the Ryzeal cards in particular are broken.
3 Deadnader because it's just so good. 2 Duodrive because it searches 2 good cards everytime. 1 Mereologic Aggregator because it is the 3rd best card in the extra deck when combined with EX Ryzeal. Everything else is optional. Basically I put in a card for every situation I could think of. Dark Rebellion covers things with big attacks, Light Dragon handles plain monsters, Honor Ark handles monsters safely, Tornado Dragon handles S/Ts, Exciton is a comeback tool, Bagooska and Zeus feel like filler, and Laplacian is win-more, but sometimes is exactly what you need to blow a game out. Before you build for tournament you will have to put a Gagaga Cowboy in the main 15 or the side because the time rules are broken.
Haven't had this much fun with a deck in a long time. Has an incredibly simple gameplan that is hard to stop and hard to break, while giving you enough tools to get creative and solve complicated situations. Deck does have a key weakness in Deadnader being turned off or removed before it can't start hitting, but even then you will still have access to powerful back-ups that can cover a wide-variety of scenarios, but can never cover absolutely everything, meaning that it will some match-up specific decisions it will have to make. Bottom line, its broken.
