I'm still working on the deck.
This is a Rose Dragon Primite deck that I thought about as my old Rose Dragon deck had issues pulling off combos, but Primite adds different line that help a ton in pulling off combos alone with grind games which is another area the old deck struggled with.
I am not added Primite Drillbeam to the deck because it is too powerful for the games I am playing. Basically I am banning it for those games. It will boast the deck's power and grind game by a lot though.
I am considering switching Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis with Underworld Goddess of the Closed World but I really want them both. The extra deck is really tight and I don't think I should cut anything as everything in there is important for either combo lines, disruptions, and/or going second. I will test the deck out and see if there are any extra deck monsters that be cut.
Ruddy Rose Witch is in the deck because it can be searching by Roxrose Dragon and is important in a few lines to summon out Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon since it is a level 1 tunner. Also it being a plant monster can come up. It can also be used to put back Black Rose Dragon or Ruddy Rose Dragon in grind games. Witch of the Black Rose and Rose Fairy are not worth running as they are hard breaks and are really not that good.
Blue Rose Dragon is in the deck because it can be searched by Roxrose Dragon and is important is certain lines due to it being a non tunner level 4. The bonus effect of bringing back Black Rose Dragon when it is destoried is just a nice bonus effect that can come up in certain game states.
I am considering cutting Rose Lover, but it has come up for some hands and it is another way to summon S:P Little Knight. I would also need to remove some spells/traps if I did that or add a different plant monster to replace it.
White Rose Cloister is a card that I would rather not have in the deck, but I cannot cut it because it special summoning monsters from the hand. This is important because the deck has a lot of normal summons. Ideally the field spell would keep the effect to special summon along with another effect to add a rose card from deck to hand or some other effect that would make it better.
Timelord Progenitor Vorpgate is in the deck mainly as removal because it when it attacks it can banish all monsters the opponant controls and then if you link Timelord Progenitor Vorpgate off during main phase 2 and then all those monsters will stay banished since Timelord Progenitor Vorpgate is not on the field during the end phase. It is good removal that hinders the opponant's followup. Also since it cannot be destoried it works well with Black Rose Dragon and Ruddy Rose Dragon. It being a harder to remove monster is just a bonus.
Note the deck is over 40 due to the cards you would rather not draw.
Any ideas on how to improve the deck without adding non-engine as for the games I am playing I ban most non-engine.
