Anime Deck based on Rex Raptor's Duelist Kingdom Deck. Contains all cards that Rex used in the anime in that season.
Duelist Kingdom has different rules than the current ones (those would only take place in Battle City), so duelists are able to summon high level monsters for no tributes. This deck was made for fun and wasn't meant for being competitive (there was, however, an attempt to do it considering their decks and rules of that arc and their universe).
Contains a mix of Dinosaur and Dragon type monsters. We all know by now that Rex Raptor lost his precious "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in the duel against Joey, but I still made this deck according to the Deck that Joey faced (if anything, we just need to take out Red-Eyes).
Cards like "Cold Wave" and "Hinotama" were added because of the main theme of the Deck - Dinosaurs (more specifically, things that were thought that extinguished the Dinosaurs). "Dragon Nails" was used by Rex in the anime so, even though it was only released much further on in the future, it was a thing back in the era of that anime.
Decided to have "Meteor Dragon" and "Meteor Black Dragon" as teasing to what Rex's Deck could actually have been if he was actually successful. Then again, he got second place against Weevil, that guy has "Perfectly Ultimate Moth" and "Meteor Black Dragon" has similar ATK stats, very much rivaling each other (anyone who's played Forbidden Memories can understand how strong those 2 are, I believe).
Oh, and that other Normal Monster in the Side Deck? That's the replacement for Red-Eyes.
If you think about it enough, you can see what I did there. It was more of an Easter Egg and personal pick (pretty much a bunch of this deck is anyway too).
