I think I finally figured out a way to play rescue ace pretty consistently in genesys. I have seen enough disappointing lists where nobody has made a deck that does more than just the turbulence line. I tried this list with more infernoble cards but it was way more inconsistent and didn't achieve much. Unfortunately I did not find a way to get this to 40 cards, it's probably possible by cutting down on R-Ace names, but I did not want to minimise that since they're the star of the show. If you feel it's absolutely necessary a 43 card list with 2 air lifter, 2 hydrant, 1 quick attacker would likely be fine but I have not tested it. The deck ends up being a lot of gas and I don't see many hand traps in test hands, so some cards in hand do end up redundant. Usually this is saved by these cards being hand trap bait or extenders.
Air lifter is a good starter, but you can go for more out of ash or junk meister as one card starters.
When going for the ash line, it is better to summon jet synchron from the OSS than hydrant. Jet + flamberge gets powertool (for durendal) and also searches junk meister. This allows you to go into AFD to special summon air lifter from hand (searched with durendal) and bridges into R-Ace plays.
For the junk meister line, you can either go through Angelica (jet synchron) or power tool dragon (revolution synchron) to get durendal without using your normal summon. Power tool dragon is generally better since you can follow it up with crystal wing to insulate your plays. But if you have drawn one of the equip spells Angelica is better. Use her to find the equip name you don't have, and then use durendal to search air lifter. When equipping durendal, DO NOT CHAIN ANGELICA. Use her effect to tag out when equipping almace. This gets you to Roland, and with some extra steps, you can end with Roland in grave, both power tool braver dragon and Charles on field (with at least one s/t zone free), and the usual hydrant + turbulence on field (contain, extinguish, and rescue set) + preventer in grave.
I have not tried many lines into high impact hand traps (i.e. droll, nib, charmies) but you can generally just go for a board with a lower ceiling. If you get to Crystal wing early, you can be nib-proof.
All in all, it's fun. I need to pick up a lot of these cards to play this in person, so this will have to live online for the time being.
