The deck hinges on, like all ritual chaos builds, the +1 from Manju allowing you immediate access to a light and a dark via the searched relinquished. With relinquished as immediate discard fodder, cards like phoenix wing wind blast and raigeki break have additional value. Determining which you should run (or if you should run both) depends on what kind of decks you face most often.
This build is centered primarily around defeating chaos turbo, but for most other matchups I find siding out kycoo and spirit reaper in favour of gravekeeper's spy more optimal.
Scapegoats and metamorphosis allow a chaos control strategy that has recently become a more and more popular siding option among chaos turbo players. It's application in this deck is similar, though metamorphosis does give additional value for potentially holding onto your relinquished to actually summon it for board breaking when your opponent has numerous monsters. Sucking with relinquished and then using meta to suck again with TER isn't going to come up too often, but it will feel great when it does.
