Yes, the only thing they share in common is the fact that Werewolf can be summoned using any level 9s, BUT they also don't clash. You can normal summon Loptr to summon Mardel to add Stage to hand. Your opponent has plenty of opportunities in that line of play to trigger hand traps, and that's when you switch gears on them. Once you've masterfully baited their hand traps, show them you're really playing K9. These Darkstalkers furries (swear to god that's not why I like them, Konami just makes the furries better than others) have tons of interactions to extend and disrupt your opponent. The spells can be searched and recur so much that you can minimize their presence. If you summon with Jokull, you cannot Xyz summon a Light monster, so you'll want to go into Ripper or Quinquery, but you'd probably do that anyway. If you have to ns a K9, you can start the engine that way, too, just expect that you won't get as many extenders since your opponent will be negating them directly.
