A pure R.B. deck built around 13 one-card starters + Camellia, 16 non-engine slots, and the pure endboard has 5 interruptions (Monster negate, Spell/Trap negate, Monster pop, Monster steal, Camellia/Amatsu) plus the Cannon handrip, hopefully backed by handtraps.

Trying out Exceptional Schedule. Citadel's there as a > 5 Earth Machine and is the better summon off Urgent Schedule since it's +1 interaction. It's not a consistent interaction right now, and it bricks in your hand but you can summon Barricadeborg just to chuck it; it'll be better once we get Zenna no Tsunagihime.
On one hand, it plays directly into droll. On the other hand, playing the Crystron/Terrortop package taught me that actually, if you don't open Dock then playing into Droll sucks no matter what, because 1st searching Stage Landing is nearly as bad as self-drolling. You're better off trying to max out your endboard without a dock, and Schedule's amazing for that because under Droll it ends on 3 interactions (Blade, Driller/Cutter, Citadel) without needing any other cards, and can still Exceptional out a lone Citadel if you get stopped further.
Added the Girsu engine because it naturally requires 2 handtraps to stop, and self-extends if they try to choke you on Booster. Unfortunately, this build is slightly brickier when going 1st with only 13 one-cards (15 going 2nd thanks to Urgent), but the starter quality's better so maybe it's worth it?

Current version maindecks both Last Stand and Next Phase. While Next Phase is usually better, while interrupted it's better to salvage the line with Last Stand, and yet you still need the Next Phase if you want to go first. I'm bum on Regulus; it's 3 bricks and a discard for an interaction, when you could get a 5th interaction without discarding by making Camellia/Amatsu with the same resources.
The Crystron package is 6 one-card starters for 1 soft brick (Sulfador), and even that's occasionally an extender if you get to tribute summon it. The package also synergizes really well with Droplet, and can +1 an extra Inclusion for followup. I'm also still a big fan of Terrortop/Taketomborg not mandating the normal summon.
Tetherwolf/O-Lion's better than most other things, but they both lose to one handtrap after eating the normal summon. I tried Machina, then cut it completely because Unclaspare shuts off the Lambda Cannon handrip. I've also cut Terraforming completely because the "4th" copy of Funk Dock is actually really bricky.
The Liger Dancer out is Brute Blues backed by 2 Stage Landings in grave (tank two Raigekis), pointing at enough stats (eg: Pilebunker + Blade) to just double attack over double Liger, and it's a link so you get to ignore Bagooska too, even if the attached parts can't. Or just handtrap them to death. Or chuck a Lava Golem at em.
Oh my god I love Camellia, I love Sky Striker Ace - Camellia. Now all your handtraps are combo pieces, and they're all extenders, and you actually get to use her "on send to GY" effect for an extra interaction on your endboard (pop her with Next Phase) - if your opponent's got a Striker engine, you can tag her out for Amatsu instead.

EDIT: Sept 2025
Went to locals, immediately got punished for only having 2 Brute Blues/Booster. Bumped those up to 3, but I still don't think the 3rd Shepherd's Crook ever comes up.
EDIT: Mar 2026
Heavily revamped after trying blind 2nd R.B. at a regional and getting murdered by making multiple pre-banlist Mitsu/Yummy players go first.
EDIT: Apr 2026
Japan finally got their hands on R.B. and most of them are doing 1 Drones nothing else for the Striker package, so I've shelved Engage/Widow and gone back to Terrortop/Taketomborg.
EDIT: May 2026
Screwing around with Exceptional Schedule.
