Qliphort Demise

Use Qliphort Scout as key searcher: search for Qli monster or Saqlifice.

Way to find Qliphort Scout:

• Summonner's Art


• Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon

Monsters for being tributed: Qliphort Carrier (return monster to hand) and Qliphort Helix (destroy Spell/Trap Card)

Monsters for tribute summon:

• Qliphort Stealth (return card to hand)


• Qliphort Disk (fill extra deck or OTK)


• Qliphot Shell (pierce damage, 2-attack per Battlephase, OTK

Qliphort Monolith is used for Pendulum summon and extra draw.

Main strategy:

• Find Scout, activate its effect to search for Saqlifice (if you don't have one) and attach it to a monster.


• Summon a monster (2 tribute) by tributing the monster with Saqlifice to get Monolith to hand, place it in another Pendulum Zone for extra draw at End Phase


• Repeating Pendulum and tribute summon to activate monsters' effects or call out Skybase or Towers to finish the game


• You can also use Stealth or Carrier or Disk in Pendulum Zone to increase Qli monsters' attack by 300.

Weakness:

This deck is very sensitive to cards that destroy spell card like MST or Twin Twisters, which can destroy Scout (main searcher). I use Magic Reflector to protect Scout. However, decks with high speed and have monster with destroy-Spell-card effects are serious threats.

Qliphort decks nowadays are not fast enough so they need defensive cards as well as disruption cards like Vanity's Emptiness to work. But in my opinion, a Qliphort deck is easy to use (not many complicated combos), quite strong and annoying to your opponent. While Link summon is claiming its throne, Qliphort deck needs more support cards to survive.
