Pure Vendread using Zombie monsters mostly. The reason I don't run Curse of The Ancient Turtle is because I personally didn't have it come up much. It was never something I preferred seeing in my hand over Dark Necromancer or Delta of Invitation, or hell, even Vendread Charge.
But again, this is my personal deck list, don't net deck and just take it as an idea for your own personal build! The main takeaway is that Vendread is finally relatievly strong! The main goal of this particular build is to get a loop going with Executor by using Core on the field as it's ritual tribute. Yes, it does come up, quite often actually. Don't sleep on Vendread Charge and Ravenous Vendread, very powerful cards.
The best way is to get Houndhorde in the GY first using it as material for your Slayer, then you can dump any Vendread card to the GY and get it back with Savior. Once Houndhorde is in the GY, using Charge (usually gotten off of Scar) and Ravenous (gotten through Slayer's effect) you're able to cheat out Revenants and Core for Executor. Now you have 4+3+1, which I think should be 8.
Have fun playing the deck! Once you have a Slayer with 2 banishes and an Executor with the non-targeting loop for all your monsters, you're pretty much controlling the game. Can it beat Ryzeal? HELL NO! Can it still hold its own? HELL YES!
