Big thank you to Krawch for giving me the idea for making this Deck.
If I haven’t said this about Prediction Princess already, the Deck knows what it wants to end on, but it has almost no way of actually getting there. That is why I have been experimenting with incorporating all sorts of different archetypes, especially ones that include a Level 9 monster or can facilitate one in order to see if I can frankenstein a good Prediction Princess Deck. If anything, the archetype literally just needs a Spell that says ‘Add 1 “Prediction Princess” monster or 1 “Prediction” Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand’ and it will be much more capable of accessing its plays a whole lot more often. While this hypothetical card is still just a figment of my imagination, Miracle Raven is a very good card for facilitating the closest thing to a “pure” Prediction Princess Deck. Miracle Raven is a Level 1 Ritual Pendulum Monster whose Pendulum Effect allows you to Ritual Summon it (from your Pendulum Zone) by Tributing monsters from hand/field whose total Levels equal or exceed 1. Its monster effect allows it to fulfill an entire Ritual requirement for a Ritual Summon that uses monsters while you control it. Also, if it is Tributed for a Ritual Summon, you can add a Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. Sure, Prediction Princess can’t make insane use of this card like archetypes like Megalith (with their new support) and Voiceless Voice (since Diviner sending Herald, Herald search Raven, Scale Raven, Ritual Summon Raven Tributing Herald, Herald summoning Lo is bonkers crazy), but Ritual Raven can essentially replace the need for using Prediction Princess Bibliomuse when Ritual Summoning Prediction Princess monsters.
Let’s imagine a combo: You have Prediction Princess Tarotrei and Underworld Ritual of Prediction in hand and you control a Ritual Summoned Miracle Raven. Activate Underworld Ritual, Tributing Miracle Raven as the whole Tribute, to Ritual Summon Tarotrei. Miracle Raven, upon being Tributed for a Ritual Summon, searches for Prediction Princess Tarotreith. During your End Phase, Tarotrei activates to Special Summon Tarotreith from your hand face-down. During your opponent’s Standby Phase, you can banish Underworld Ritual from GY to Special Summon Prediction Princess Bibliomuse from Deck and chain Tarotrei’s effect to flip Tarotreith face-up. On a new chain, Tarotreith’s Flip Effect triggers to Special Summon Deus-X Krawler from Deck. Tarotreith can then Quick Effect flip both Bibliomuse and Deus-X face-up. Deus-X negates all activated monster effects on your opponent’s side of the field while Bibliomuse’s Flip Effect triggers to search a Tarotrei and another Underworld Ritual for follow-up while also providing your Ritual Monsters targeting and destruction protection. So in situations where you do not have Bibliomuse access, but you do have Miracle Raven access, you can still pretty much achieve full Prediction Princess combo. Is this Deck good? For a pure Prediction Princess Deck, this is much much much better than what pure Prediction Princess looked post DABL when its support came out. The cards that I have chosen to play do their absolute best to produce hands that end on some semblance of the Prediction Princess endboard. Is this beating say Runick Prediction Princess or Blue-Eyes Prediction Princess? Definitely NOT, but this is still as good as pure is going to get at this point in time.
For the Main Deck Monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei can Quick Effect flip a monster on field face-up or face-down and she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down during your End Phase. Tarotreith must either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei's effect in the End Phase. Her Flip Effect Special Summons a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can also Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back face-down after being Tributed and sent there. Her Flip Effect adds a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand and while she is face-up on the field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s card effects. 1 Deus-X Krawler which negates all activated monster effects on your opponent's side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute. 1 Whirlwind Weasel whose Flip Effect makes it so that your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards for the rest of the turn. You can also play Guard Dog alongside Whirlwind Weasel or you can play it over Weasel. But where is Pot of the Forbidden you ask? You can still play Pot, but in the event that you open Deus-X and are not playing a second copy in Deck (which you could if you wanted to), if you want to make full use of both Underworld Ritual’s GY effect and the Tarotreith in hand rather than just using Tarotrei’s effect to Special Summon Deus-X from hand, you can choose to play either Guard Dog or Whirlwind Weasel to Special Summon off of Tarotreith’s Flip Effect. Guard Dog and Whirlwind Weasel’s Flip Effects have the potential to just end your opponent’s turn. And because you have Tarotreith on field, it can also flip Bibliomuse face-up to give protection and search follow-up. Now imagine if you wanted both protection and follow-up with Bibliomuse off of Underworld Ritual, but you played Pot instead of Guard Dog, Whirlwind Weasel, or a second Deus-X. What is 1 hand-rip going to do by itself if your opponent opens multiple starters? What is Quick Effect Raigeki or Giant Trunade that activates on a following chain going to do without a Deus-X to support it? It’s really your choice if you want to play Pot or one of the alternatives I listed. 1 Cyber Angel Benten. It searches a LIGHT Fairy if Tributed and it is basically another search target for the Preparation of Rites that we are playing and it can search Tarotrei. 1 Miracle Raven. You pretty much only need the 1 copy. Also, just keep in mind that you can Tribute your Prediction Princess Ritual Monsters to Ritual Summon Miracle Raven if you have access to Underworld Ritual since it can also Ritual Summon from GY. 3 Diviner of the Herald. On Normal or Special Summon, it can send a Fairy from Deck or Extra Deck to GY and increase its own Level by the Level of the sent monster. If it is Tributed, you can Special Summon a Level 2 or lower Fairy from your hand or Deck except for Diviner. Diviner is just good in general for most Ritual Decks since it can send Herald of the Arc Light to search a Ritual Spell or Ritual Monster. It is a shame that we aren’t playing any targets for its second effect, but this effect doesn’t really benefit us much in this Deck. Finally, 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring and 3 Droll & Lock Bird.
For Spell/Traps: 2 Pre-Preparation of Rites which searches a Ritual Spell from Deck and a Ritual Monster that is mentioned on that Ritual Spell from your Deck or GY. 2 Prediction Ritual which specially only can be used to Ritual Summon Prediction Princess Tarotrei and you can banish it from GY except the turn it was sent there to search a Prediction Princess monster. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which can Ritual Summon a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY face-up or face-down and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess monster from Deck face-down. The combo I described with Miracle Raven is best done with Underworld Ritual as it can Special Summon Prediction Princess Bibliomuse from your Deck during your opponent’s Standby Phase whose Flip Effect can search follow-up while also providing protection while face-up on field. Ritual Summoning Tarotrei using Prediction Ritual and Tributing Miracle Raven does not give you Bibliomuse access for searching follow-up or protection. So why are we playing Prediction Ritual and Pre-Prep? Pre-Prep gives us both Tarotrei and a Ritual Spell to Ritual Summon it which, alongside Miracle Raven (given you did not draw Bibliomuse) still gives you basically almost the entire Prediction Princess endboard, specifically the most important part of it: Deus-X Krawler. It’s still better than ending with nothing. 3 Readying of Rites which adds a Fiend Ritual Monster from Deck to hand and if you added a Pendulum Monster, you can Special Summon a Sacrificial Offering Token which is basically a Level 1 Token intended to be used as Tribute to Ritual Summon Miracle Raven. However, while you control that Token, you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck which is not an issue. And when your Ritual Monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can banish Readying of Rites from GY to draw a card. This card just facilitates Miracle Raven which is really good and all that it needs to do. 3 Preparation of Rites. This searches a Level 7 or lower Ritual Monster from Deck and then can add a Ritual Spell from GY to hand. This searches for either Miracle Raven or Benten in this Deck, and more importantly, it is not once per turn. So, in the case where you draw multiple copies, you can access both Miracle Raven and Benten to get more Prediction Princess Ritual Monsters into your hand. 1 Called by the Grave. 3 Pot of Extravagance and 1 Pot of Prosperity. Gotta have additional consistency from somewhere. And finally, 3 Infinite Impermanence.
Extra Deck: 1 Elder Entity N’tss which, if sent to GY, can target and destroy a card on field. In the instance where you have an additional Diviner in hand for a following turn, you can use its effect to send N’tss for a pop. 3 Herald of the Arc Light which adds a Ritual Spell or Ritual Monster from Deck to hand if sent to GY. We are playing 3 copies because I really do not want to banish this card off of Extravagance because I really need to send it off of Diviner if I am able to do so. 1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder and 1 Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis. 2 Infinitrack Earth Slicer and 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. For Extravagance purposes, I am choosing to play 2 Earth Slicer because it is good for removal on a following turn and it doesn’t require another card like Laevateinn does. If I choose to play multiples of Laevateinn and Jormungandr, that is a waste of Extra Deck space first of all, but there is still the chance of banishing all of my Laevateinns or all of my Jormungandrs which effectively makes them useless. 2 S:P Little Knight. 1 Dyna Mondo. And 1 Salamangreat Almiraj if I need to Link off Diviner.
Side Deck: 3 Nibiru, the Primal Being, 3 Mulcharmy Fuwalos, 3 Mulcharmy Purulia, 2 Lightning Storm, 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster, and 3 Solemn Judgment.
