This is a Pure Mayakashi Deck. This deck is not meant to be competitive or meta, but it can still be used in a somewhat competent and playable way. This deck is also fairly easy to learn, so beginners are welcome!
The Main Deck contains all the Mayakashi Monsters as well as some generic Zombie Support cards. Additionally, most of the "Ghost Girl" hand-traps (i.e., Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring and Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion) are also Zombies, so I included those in the Main Deck as well (they can also be used as bridges for Small World).
The Side Deck contains other generic support cards and support cards for Zombies you can consider adding, as well as the Shiranui archetype and cards, as they pair hand-in-hand with the Mayakashi archetype and even tie into each other in their card art and lore.
The Extra Deck is filled with all the Mayakashi Extra Deck monsters. You can swap out some of the extra copies for other generic Extra Deck cards and staples, or, as I mentioned before, some of the Shiranui cards, or even just other generic Zombie Extra Deck cards that can prove useful.
Key words/terms to know!:
- Mill - Sending the top X cards from the top of the deck to the Graveyard.

Deck Explanation
The main goal of the deck is to use your main monster, Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi, and use her NOT Once Per Turn effect to climb into all of your Mayakashi Extra Deck monsters, which each contain effects when they are Special Summoned from the Graveyard, as this is the main gimmick of the deck. You then use these effects in order to interact with your opponent with disruptions and use them as big bodies to roll them over, come your turn again.
So the main gist is pretty simple. Summon out Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi and one other Level 1 monster; Synchro into Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi, and Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi summons herself back out from the Graveyard, and you repeat this essentially infinitely, climbing into your entire Extra Deck!
Your main starters for the deck are Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi, and Mayakashi Return, as you can search and summon Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi to then immediately go into your Extra Deck and start climbing into everything.
Yuki-Musume, the Ice Mayakashi is also pretty helpful, as she can be a pseudo-starter for the deck if you open her and Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi, or some other Mayakashi monster, and then she can Special Summon herself from your hand OR Graveyard. Additionally, she can be an extender because of this effect.
Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga is an EXTREMELY powerful floodgate card that this deck can actually use because it IS a part of this archetype!
The rest of the Main Deck is truly utility to get into the main combo of summoning out Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi to start Synchro Summoning and climbing into the rest of the Extra Deck.
As for the Extra Deck, it contains all our main boss monsters and main plays! Each of the Extra Deck Synchro monsters shares two similar effects. The first and main effect is that whenever they are Special Summoned from the Graveyard, they do a unique effect to help interrupt your opponent or make you gain advantage in the duel. The second effect is that whenever a monster whose Level is 2 Levels above their own (except Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi, who simply just needs a Link Monster in this instance) is destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effect while they are in the Graveyard, they can Special Summon themselves out. Basically, we are substituting one of our destroyed Mayakashi monsters for the next in line! But every single Extra Deck Mayakashi monster also has the same RESTRICTION, in which you can only control ONE of its card's names.
Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi is usually the first monster we Synchro Summon into that we can use to climb into the rest of our Extra Deck. Its effect when Special Summoned from the Graveyard is to protect your monsters from battle this turn.
Tsuchigumo, the Poisonous Mayakashi is next in line. Its effect when summoned from the Graveyard is to have both players "mill" 3 cards.
Tengu, the Winged Mayakashi is next. When they are summoned from the Graveyard, it destroys 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls.
Yoko, the Graceful Mayakashi is after that. When they are summoned from the Graveyard, it destroys 1 monster your opponent controls.
Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi is last for the Synchro monsters. When they are summoned from the Graveyard, for this turn, they are unaffected by other cards' effects.
Yuki-Onna, the Ice Mayakashi is the first Link monster of the Archetype, and instead of having an effect when she is summoned from the Graveyard, she has some neat on-field effects. If this card points to a Synchro Monster, this card can't be targeted for attacks, and if a Synchro Monster you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effects, you can target 1 face-up monster on the field, and its ATK/DEF become half until the end of the turn.
Yuki-Onna, the Icicle Mayakashi is the next Link monster. She has an effect on Special Summon to target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls, and negate its effects. She also has a Quick Effect while in the Graveyard to banish herself from the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 Synchro Zombie Monster that is banished or in the Graveyard.
Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi is the last Link monster. She has a "floodgate" effect to negate any activated effects of your opponent's banished monsters. She also has an effect that, if a monster is Special Summoned OR a monster effect is activated in the Graveyard, you can target 1 other face-up monster on the field, change its ATK to 0, and if you do, negate its effects. And you can use this effect up to TWICE per turn!
Combo
A sample combo for this deck is as follows (Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi in hand):
Normal Summon Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi. Effect on summon to Special Summon Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi. Synchro Summon into Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi in the Graveyard: Special Summon herself back when a Mayakashi from the Extra Deck is Special Summoned (you're gonna hear this a lot). Synchro Summon into Tsuchigumo, the Poisonous Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi: Special Summon herself back from Graveyard. Synchro Summon into Tengu, the Winged Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi: Special Summon herself back. Synchro Summon into Yoko, the Graceful Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi: Summon herself back. Synchro Summon into Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi: Summon herself. Link Summon into Yuki-Onna, the Ice Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi: Summon. Link Summon into Yuki-Onna, the Icicle Mayakashi. Effect of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi. Link Summon into Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi. Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi. Pass.
This end board contains: Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi, which is a floodgate against your opponent's banished monsters' effects, AND a TWICE per turn negate whenever a monster is Special Summoned from the Graveyard or a monster effect is activated in the Graveyard. Additionally, you have a WHOLE set-up Graveyard you can use as utility to use against your opponent. Yoko, the Graceful Mayakashi can pop a monster your opponent controls; Tengu, the Winged Mayakashi can pop 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; Tsuchigumo, the Poisonous Mayakashi can mill 3 from both decks; Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi can protect your monsters from battle for the turn; and Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi can protect itself from card effects for the turn. Yuki-Onna, the Icicle Mayakashi is one of the ways you can get to this, as she can banish herself to Special Summon one of the utility pieces in your Graveyard for you to use. Another way to facilitate this is that whenever one of your Mayakashi Extra Deck monsters gets destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effect, the next Synchro Monster in line can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard by banishing one other Zombie in the Graveyard. So, for example, if Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi gets destroyed, Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi can summon itself; if Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi gets destroyed, Yoko, the Graceful Mayakashi can then summon itself; and if Yoko, the Graceful Mayakashi gets destroyed, Tengu, the Winged Mayakashi can summon itself, and so on.
Overall, a pretty fun deck that really does bring to mind the idea of Zombies coming back from the grave time and time again. I hope you enjoyed!
