(I don't know why it took me this long to submit a deck of my favorite deck of all time but oh well)
Have you ever played Pacifis control and thought "Man I wish I had bricks to keep the gameplay fresh"? Well look no further because Generaider is here (and has been for a while but let's not talk about that). This deck is one of those classic field spell centric decks that has zero way to play when the field spell is somewhere other than on board. But unlike those decks, you're running a huge amount of level 9s that really want to stay in deck for the deck to function. However, Generaiders have some extremely good support to make up for this inherent weak spot that makes them semi-consistent and an absolute king of the mid-game.
There are 9 main deck monsters in the archetype and really only 6 are worth talking about. Harr, Hela, Utgarda, and Nidhogg all have the usual Generaider effects where they tribute monsters for a beneficial effect. Harr is an omni-negate, Hela is a reborn, Utgarda is a targeting banish, and Nidhogg is a summon negate. Mardel and Loptr are a bit unique in the deck as Mardel is your search card when summoned and Loptr tributes any Generaider on board (including itself) for a level 9 Generaider from deck. Loptr is also the only normal summon in the deck, so all you Aleister fanboys can go wild. Naglfar, Frodi, and Dovelgus are all really really bleh compared to the rest, so don't run them unless you feel super confident in your ability to draw like Lithium when he plays Monarchs.
As for ratios of the main deck Generaiders, 3 Mardel and 3 Loptr is standard with one or two of the others depending on what you think you'll need in the deck. Trias Hierarchia is also a really good inclusion in the deck as it can tribute your Generaider tokens to summon itself on your opponent's turn. If you include that, run 2 or 3 copies as it is always online if you have access to the field spell.
Onto the spell cards, Boss Stage is the heart and soul of the deck. It kinda defines the whole playstyle of Generaiders, that being playing during your opponent's turn but in a cooler way than PSY-Frames could ever hope to achieve. It summons tokens during their turn that enable every Generaider to pop off, and it summons one from deck before doing so. Just the coolest field spell in the game in my opinion. Run three because you have to.
To find the field spell we have 7 additional backrow (plus Mardel) to find it. Terraforming is Terraforming and it just does Terraforming things. I'd run three if I could, but you kinda can't and probably never will be able to again. RIP in kill sweet prince. Boss Quest searches two Generaider spells and traps with different names for the low, low cost of putting a brick back in the deck. You run three and only ever three. Boss Fight activates Boss Stage from the deck or GY. It's like Metaverse but better. Run three. Boss Room is a really cool card that changes any activated effect into both players drawing one card. I usually run three, but with Boss Quest it's almost always accessible so you can run one or two instead.
The non-Generaider backrow is pretty self-explanatory. Pot of Avarice keeps you in the game longer than 11 turns which might not ever come up if the people you play against are always on combo decks, but I always end up playing against Dark Magician or Geist 90% of the time so it's nice to have this card in the deck. Kuji-Kiri Curse is an additional unbricking tool that also sets up Hela while drawing two cards. You can run Prosperity instead, but you do want your extra deck to help close out games. World Legacy's Monstrosity is an amazing card in the deck as it can either summon one level 9 from your hand or summon two from deck if you have one on board already. Other than just simply waiting for Boss Stage to activate a few times, this is how you get into the extra deck. Rank-Up Magic Argent Chaos Force is a bit of a sussy include, but I lost a game to geist while being 100 LP from winning, so this enables you to summon this deck's version of "Cowboy for game" being Number C9.
The extra deck is just every single good rank 9 you can run with some links to help with using Loptr as material when your deck is running low on cards. Heart-eartH is my favorite xyz monster in the game, and could absolutely be replaced by something better, but it's included here because I really like the card. Tachyon Dragon helps close out games with its skill drain effect. Enterblathnir is just really good answer to a lot of problem cards with its non-targeting banish. Dyson Sphere is good at cleaning up games by attacking directly (and then you can rank it up to really close out a game). Hyperyton brings even more negates to the party in the weirdest way possible. The Cat is another Hela but without the tribute cost. Jormungandr is technically the boss monster of the deck and can steal your opponent's resources to achieve big number.
The Knightmares are standard and don't need explaining. World Gears, however, is probably the worst deckbuilding choice I have ever made. If you summon this card, it clears the board, which sounds super cool. But Generaiders kinda want the board so they can build up advantage turn by turn and exhaust their opponent. Not to mention if you manage to get 3 level 9's on board, you can access the entire extra deck (except the chaos xyz cards) instead of a field nuke towers. It might be better than I make it out to be, but I've never had it work for me.
In the side deck, Lava Golem is a solid choice with how few normal summons the deck has. Kaijus might be better in most cases, but Enterblathnir can usually handle a single boss monster on its own. Raigeki is Raigeki and it's just better lightning storm now that it's unbanned. Cosmic Cyclone is a good answer to other spell reliant decks and Heavy Storm Duster does the same but while dodging Anti-Spell and Imperial Order (Not anymore though, get fucked IO). Imperm is just my favorite handtrap with how effective it is going first or second, but you can use any other hand traps you'd like.
This definitely isn't the best build of the deck out there, but I'm not a huge fan of mixing archetypes together so this is the best I can make while keeping it pure. You can add Girsu, Therizia, or Aleister and their engine cards to give the deck more normal summons and either extension or boss monsters, or use a Guru deck as the base and splash in Generaider if you're a streamer who's beyond high on copium. If you have any questions or suggestions, leave them below so I can try and improve the deck as best as I can.
