This is a Pure Aroma deck I like to use a lot for many casual duels. It is not meant to be competitive or meta whatsoever, but it can still be used in a somewhat competent and playable way.
You can always add hand traps and cards such as Naturia Rosewhip, Predaplant Spider Orchid, Cactus Bouncer, and a Therion engine with Therion "Lily" Borea and Therion "King" Regulus with Therion Discolosseum to add more POWER to this deck. You can add a lot to this deck and even run it at 60 cards for a huge Plant Pile since there are a lot of good Plant cards out there.
In the Side Deck, I added some Rikka cards, as you can also incorporate Rikka (Rikka Queen Strenna and Teardrop the Rikka Queen are good extra deck options as well as the powerful Sacred Tree Beast, Hyperyton) into this deck, and I did add Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder as an option, but I don't fully recommend it, as you will be plant-locked most of the time and I personally prefer Sacred Tree Beast, Hyperyton.
You can also make the deck feel more "Pure" and casual by adding more of the Aroma monsters and spells as multiple copies and adding more generic plant support cards so you can then have your "Boss Monsters" be your Synchros and perhaps one of your normal effect monsters with a big stat stick.
All in all, this deck can be used and changed in many different ways! Complex to casual.
Deck Explanation
The Main Goal of this deck is to gain the Life Point (LP) advantage against your opponent, as many of your Aroma cards gain additional effects whenever you do have more LP than your opponent. Additionally, whenever you gain LP, your Aroma cards will also gain additional effects.
Using these effects, we can summon so many plant monsters as materials that we can use in order to summon a bunch of big monsters with good effects from the Extra Deck.
Benghalancer the Resurgent can bounce; Aromalilith Magnolia protects plants from card destruction; Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram protects plants from targeting; if you choose to run Rikka and Hyperyton, Teardrop the Rikka Queen has a Quick-Effect Tribute, Rikka Princess is a monster negate, Rikka Konkon can Tribute one of your opponent's monsters as cost, Rikka Sheet is another monster negate, and Sacred Tree Beast, Hyperyton can be a Spell and/or Monster negate (sometimes trap). But more importantly, this deck in its Archetype has one of the best Plant monsters of them all, Aromaseraphy Jasmine!
AN IMPORTANT NOTE THAT SHOULD BE MENTIONED! Most of the Lifepoint-gaining effects from many of the Aroma monsters are MANDATORY EFFECTS. Which means they happen almost IMMEDIATELY. This means you can potentially chain block your opponent from negating one of your more important effects.
For example, if you gain Lifepoints from, say, Aroma Garden, while you have Aromage Jasmine, Aromaseraphy Jasmine, and Aromage Laurel on the board: you can chain block and dictate which effects go first by telling your opponent how you want the chain to resolve. So if you really want the "Add a Plant from Deck" effect from Aromaseraphy Jasmine and maybe the Draw 1 from regular Aromage Jasmine; chain 1 Link Jasmine, chain 2 Regular Jasmine, and chain 3 Laurel. So now your opponent can only respond to Laurel's effect. Pretty cool :)
It can also sometimes BACKFIRE by having the effects activate immediately and not when YOU really want them to activate them. Such as if you want to play Aroma Garden and Aroma Gardening, but you don't want an effect to resolve on the effect of Gardening and wanted to save it for later, forcing you to add or whatever effect you might use and then potentially be vulnerable to your opponent while you don't have a chain block set up. It can also backfire, with, say, Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram activating to destroy a card you didn't want to destroy; similarly to Traptrix Myrmeleo's effect if you ever played Traptrix.
For the Main Deck:
Aromalilith Rosalina is one of your core starters. On summon, she can Special Summon a Non-Tuner Aroma from the Deck, but using this effect locks you into ONLY Special Summoning Plants for the turn. Additionally, she has an in-hand effect to discard herself, target an Aroma you control, and gain LP equal to half their ATK.
Aromage Laurel is a core extender and potentially starter. He has the effect to Special Summon himself from the hand if your LP is higher than your opponent's. Also, if he is sent to the Graveyard, you gain 500 LP. And lastly, whenever you gain LP and he is on the field, you can target 1 Non-Tuner Plant Monster on the field and treat it as a Tuner for this turn.
Aromage Jasmine can also be a starter and extender, as when your LP is higher than your opponent's and Jasmine is on the field, she has the passive effect to allow you to do an additional Normal Summon of a Plant Monster. And, once per turn (soft), whenever you gain LP and Jasmine is on the field, you can draw 1 card.
Aromaseraphy Angelica is an extender that can also act as a "hand-trap". In the hand, during either player's turn, you can discard her to target 1 Aroma monster in the Graveyard and LP equal to the target's ATK. Additionally, while your LP are higher than your opponent's and you control an Aroma monster, she can Special Summon herself from the Graveyard, but she will get banished when she next leaves the field.
Aroma Blend allows you to place any of the Aroma "Wind" cards onto the field from the hand or Deck by discarding a card. Additionally, it allows you to Fusion Summon 1 Plant Monster by banishing materials from the hand or field, or additionally, from the Graveyard if your LP is higher than your opponent's.
Humid Winds has 2 simple effects. The first one, you can pay 1,000 LP to add an Aroma monster from your Deck to your hand. The second, if your LP is lower than your opponent's, you can gain 500 LP.
Dried Winds also has 2 effects. The first, it can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls and pop it whenever you gain LP. The second effect, if you control an Aroma Monster and the difference in LP between you and your opponent is at least 3,000 or greater, you can pay LP equal to the difference and destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls whose ATK is less than or equal to the amount of LP you paid. So it can essentially be a board wipe.
Blessed Winds allows you to use one of its 3 effects: send 1 Plant from your hand or face-up field to the Graveyard, then gain 500 LP; target 1 Plant in your Graveyard, shuffle it into the Deck, then gain 500 LP; and lastly, pay 1,000 LP, then Special Summon 1 Aroma Monster from your Graveyard.
For the Extra Deck
Aromaseraphy Jasmine is probably the best card in your deck. She has a soft once per turn effect that, if you gain LP, you can add 1 Plant monster from your Deck to your hand. Additionally, whenever your LP is higher than your opponent's, this card and any Plant monster she points to cannot be destroyed by battle. Lastly, she has an ignition effect to Tribute 1 monster this card points to, and Special Summon 1 Plant monster from your Deck in Defense.
Aromalilith Rosemary is an extender that also has a form of removal. When she is Special Summoned, you can add 1 Aroma card from your Deck into your hand. And if you gain LP, even during the Damage Step, you can Special Summon from your hand up to 3 Aroma monsters to your zones this card points to. And lastly, she has an ignition effect to Tribute a monster she points to, target a card on the field, and Banish it, then you can gain 1,000 LP.
Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram is one of your Main End Board Pieces and Boss Monsters, and she also has a form of removal. She has the passive effect to grant protection to all your Plant monsters. If your LP is higher than your opponent's, your opponent cannot target ANY Plant monster you control with card effects. Additionally, if you gain LP, target 1 card your opponent controls and destroy it. And finally, if she is Synchro Summoned, she can add one of the three "Wind" cards from your Deck to your hand.
Aromalilith Magnolia is also one of your Main End Board Pieces and Main Boss Monsters, and she too has a form of removal. She too has a passive effect to grant protection to all your Plants. If your LP is higher than your opponent's, ALL Plant monsters you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Also, if you gain LP, even during the Damage Step, you can make ALL Plant Monsters you control gain ATK equal to the LP gained until the end of the turn. And lastly, for her removal effect, she has the ignition effect where you can pay 2,000 LP and banish cards on the field equal to the number of the "Wind" cards you control.
Combo
A sample combo for this deck is ( Aromalilith Rosalina +2 cards in hand):
Normal Summon Aromalilith Rosalina. Rosalina's effect, Special Summon from Deck Aromage Laurel. Link into Aromaseraphy Jasmine. Aromage Laurel effect, add 500LP. Aromaseraphy Jasmine effect, add a Plant monster from the Deck to the Hand. Add Rikka Princess. Special Summon Princess from Hand. Aromaseraphy Jasmine effect to Tribute Princess. Summon Lonefire Blossom. Lonefire's effect to tribute itself to Special Summon a Plant from deck.
Now from here, there are many options. You can continue summoning the rest of the Lonefires just to add material to the grave. You can also just immediately go into one of your options: You can summon Evil Thorn to activate its effect to summon two more to have more material on the field, but this does ruin one combo done with Humid Winds; if you have another Plant in your hand you can Normal Summon, you can summon Aromage Jasmine to gain an additional Normal Summon of a Plant Monster; you can summon Spore or Glow-Up Bulb which can summon themselves from the grave; you can summon Aromaseraphy Angelica straight up as for when we Link it away, she can bring herself back from the grave as well; you can summon Cyclos the Circular Sprite which lets you add a Plant Tuner by discarding a card: You can add Rose Girl, Aromalilith Rosalina, Aromaseraphy Angelica, Spore, or Glow-Up Bulb; you can use whatever you summoned to Link into Sylvan Dancepione, to mill and HOPE you can more plants to summon from her effect.
For the purpose of this combo, I will summon Lonefire into Lonefire, and then into Cyclos the Circular Sprite.
Cyclos the Circular Sprite effect, discard 1, and add Aromaseraphy Angelica. Link into Aromalilith Rosemary. Rosemary effect, add Aroma Blend. Activate Blend, discard 1, place Humid Winds face-up. Activate Humid Winds, pay 1,000LP, add Aromage Marjoram. Activate Humid Winds again to gain 500LP. Aromalilith Rosemary effect to summon up to 3 Aroma monsters from hand to zones the card points to. Summon Aromage Marjoram. Activate Aromaseraphy Angelica in hand to discard herself and target Aromaseraphy Jasmine in grave to gain 1,800 LP. Activate Aromaseraphy Angelica in grave to summon itself from the grave. Synchro Summon into Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram. Effect on Synchro Summon to add Dried Winds (or Blessed Winds, depends). Cyclos the Circular Sprite in grave to summon itself from grave. Activate Aroma Blend in grave, Banish itself, Banish an Aromage monster in grave, I typically choose Aromalilith Rosalina, and a Lonefire Blossom. Fusion Summon into Aromalilith Magnolia. Link Aromalilith Rosemary and Cyclos the Circular Sprite into Benghalancer the Resurgent. Set Dried Winds. Pass.
This board contains Aromalilith Magnolia destruction protection, Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram target protection, Aromaseraphy Sweet Marjoram can destroy a card upon gaining LP, Aromalilith Magnolia ATK gain to ALL Plant Monsters upon gaining LP during their turn, a set Dried Winds to destroy a monster and potentially two, a face-up Humid Winds to add a card (Add either Aromalilith Rosalina or Aromaseraphy Angelica) during their turn AND gain LP during their turn, Benghalancer the Resurgent to return an Effect Monster your opponent controls to the hand, potential hand-trap with Aromalilith Rosalina or Aromaseraphy Angelica to gain LP during their turn, and follow-up next turn with Aromalilith Magnolia and Aromalilith Rosemary to Banish your opponent's cards.
If you drew any extender, which COULD be Rose Girl, Spore, Spore the Fairy Seed, Glow-Up Bulb, Cyclos the Circular Sprite, Aromage Laurel, Aromage Jasmine with an additional Normal Summon, or another Aromage to summon with Aromalilith Rosemary; you can potentially have EVEN MORE on the field and summon another Aromaseraphy Jasmine which can point to two of your Plant Monsters to protect them from Battle Destruction and a potential added card during their turn, Benghalancer the Resurgent to bounce a card, Sacred Tree Beast, Hyperyton for a spell/monster negate; and maybe Teardrop the Rikka Queen if using more Rikka cards, or perhaps another Synchro Monster you can choose to summon (Even those I have not included in this list).
Also drawing one of the various Lifepoint gaining cards from the Aroma archetype this deck is based around can potentially allow you to extend as well.
Overall, this is a super flexible and very fun deck! It is also one of my personal favourite decks of all time! You can change it around a lot to be WAY more casual by using some of the older cards, in which the deck just turns into an LP-gaining deck while you whittle down your opponent, or using some of the more modern cards and extenders to set up some big boards that can be difficult to play through. I hope you enjoy!
Edit: Added Spore the Fairy Seed; added Sunavalon Dryas to Side Deck for consideration; removed Primula the Rikka Fairy from Side Deck, can still be considered if running Rikka package; combo adjusted because of a mistake in the combo line that makes it not possible, sorry! Thank you to ArchieBits!!!
Edit 2: Changed Deck Category from Non-Meta Decks to Fun/Casual Decks since I didn't know that was an option at the time of the original writing. Whoops!
Edit 3: Added Deck Explanation Section to description; added Draining Shield into Side Deck; formatting, wording, and grammar
Btw, no. You can't summon Jasmine to summon Jasmine to summon Jasmine to summon Jasmine :<
