Old School Heroes

The goal of this deck was to build something fun to play that can put the original fusions from the GX era to some use. The main play of the deck is using Elemental HERO Stratos to search for Elemental HERO Neos. Then the goal becomes to fuse them into the new Elemental HERO Flame Wingman - Infernal Rage which in turn gets you either Favorite Contact to turn the Elemental HERO Neos in your grave and the Elemental HERO Flame Wingman - Infernal Rage you just summoned into either Wake Up Your Elemental HERO in an attempt to burn for game, or Elemental HERO Shining Neos Wingman  to destroy any pesky backrow or problematic monster cards in the rare case that they can be destroyed. Alternatively you can search for Favorite Hero providing your somewhat dated hero fusions with targetting protection and in some cases, a strong attack boost.

Elemental HERO Flame Wingman - Infernal Rage can tribute himself to summon an elemental hero monster from the deck or extra deck that is level 7 or lower and cannot be normal summoned or set. This gives you access to most of the original heroes from back in the day as well as all of the single neo-spacian contact fusions. With your searched Favorite Hero , these monsters can become somewhat formidable as at the beginning of the . At the start of the battle phase you can activate a field spell from the deck which means your equiped monster gains attack equal to its defence and becomes immune to tagetting. If you open with A Hero Lives you can pay 4000LP to search your statos starter which is a 4000 attack boost for Elemental HERO Air Neos he'd gain a further 2500 from Favorite Hero due to having 2000 defence and 500 from searching Neo Space and an Elemental HERO Honest Neos can boost him further to frankly insane numbers for otk potential.
