Ancient snake deities and legendary cryptids...who could ask for more?
The goal of this Deck is to use a wide variety of discard effects to fill up the GY with Ogdoadics so you can activate their powerful effects. The obvious first choice is Snake Rain, which if you have one in hand can get five of these cards into the grave. Didn't draw Snake Rain? No problem. There's also Ogdoadic Water Lily which, although it's nowhere near as crazy as Snake Rain, can still get your main starter Nunu into the GY to start your plays (of course, if you draw both Water Lily and Snake Rain, then you can use Water Lily's second effect to revive ANY reptile from the grave). If neither of those are an option, there's always the Dangers!, which can allow you to pitch any Ogdoadics in your hand and gain card advantage to boot (if luck's on your side and your opponent doesn't snipe the Dangers! instead).
Besides the Ogdoadics and the Dangers!, this Deck also utilizes some of the generic reptile support that's been released over the years. Reptillianne Coatl can Special Summon herself if a DARK reptile is on the field (of which the Deck plays several) and is a Level 4 Tuner that opens the way for Sychro plays (Reptilianne Melusine can't be destroyed by battle or card effects if all her materials were reptiles, which they almost always will be; PSY-Framelord Omega can get banished Ogdoadics back in the GY to activate their effects the following turn; and Scrap Dragon can pop one of your opponent's troublesome cards). A small Alien package consisting of Alien Shocktropper M-Frame, Cosmic Slicer Zer'oll and Alien Overlord make use of A-counters to help swarm the field and weaken your opponent. Dark Alligator can Special Summon itself by tributing 1 Reptile and then Summons a token for each tribute used to bring it out (fun fact, this isn't once per turn, so if you have three Alligators in hand, you can Summon the first, use the token to Summon the second, and use its token to Summon the third, giving you three Level 8 monsters plus a Level 1 token to boot). Fresh out of Power of the Elements comes Vanguard of the Underground Emporer, which can Special Summon itself if a monster is discarded by the effects of one of your Dangers!, and Therion "Empress" Alasia, which can make use of the reptiles in the GY to Special Summon herself...or if you have Fum in grave, you can equip her with that instead and either Special Summon it with Alasia's effect or use it to bounce one of your opponent's cards.
Is this Deck competitive? Probably not. Any number of hand traps will stop it dead in its tracks, and it doesn't play any of its own. Can it snatch a victory or two from unsuspecting duelists who've never read the effects of the Ogdoadics and don't know which effects they need to stop? Absolutely.
