=Nouvelles=
Nouvelles are a Ritual archetype introduced in Deck Building Pack: Wild Survivors, they focus on tributing face-up attack position monsters to climb through their levels.
=Main Deck=
Let's start with their only non-Ritual monster of the Deck Poissoniere de Nouvelles, a Level 1 Dark Fiend which on summon adds a Level 1 Ritual or a Ritual Spell from your Deck to the hand. Meanwhile her second monster effect allows you to cheat Ritual monsters out of your hand by banishing any number of Ritual Spells, which doesn't come as often as the first effect. It should be noted the when Tributed she will place herself as a Pendulum, with the effect to target 1 monster on the field to change their battle position while causing her to come back as a monster, this plays into the Nouvelles Ritual effects which we will be looking at next.
Buerillabaisse de Nouvelles is your target for Poissoniere's first effect, this Level 1 Beast-Warrior on Special Summon excavates the top 5 cards of your Deck, adding 1 excavated "Nouvelles" card to your hand. Furthermore his other and most important effect is to Tribute 1 face-up attack-position monster when targeted by any card effect or for an attack Special Summoning a Level 2 or 3 "Nouvelles" Ritual Monster from your Deck or hand, this effect can be triggered by either player which paired with poissoniere lets you climb very fast through your Rituals.
Poeltis de Nouvelles, like Buer they are a Beast-Warrior, on summon it draws you a card, but more relevantely an unlike Buer and Confiras Poel doesnt need to be the one targeted to tribute monsters, if your opponent uses Kashtiratheosis targeting Unicorn? Poel gets to activate, summoning either a Level 4 or 5 "Nouvelles" Monster from the Deck or hand. Another option to run is Foie Glasya de Nouvelles a Warrior, which instead of drawing 1 Shuffles 3 cards from the opponent's GY into the Deck, which can be detrimental to some Decks like Purrely and Infernobles with their Equips or Kashtira with their Birth targets on the GY, its effect to tribute is shared with Poeltis but summons a 5 or 6 "Nouvelles" Monster instead.
Balameuniere de Nouvelles is the Deck's only Level 5, this Beast-Warrior on summon adds 1 "Nouvelles" or "Recipe" card from the Deck, usual targets would be their Counter Trap or Field Spell. Unlike the other lower levels he doesn't need a card to be targeted, summoning a Level 6 "Nouvelles" from the Deck or hand. It should be noted Balam's effect is only a quick-effect if summoned by the effect of a "Nouvelles" otherwise the Deck would focus on turbo'ing. Baelgrill de Nouvelles is the Deck's boss monster, having a Dark Ruler No More effect on Summon, and if he has been summoned by a "Nouvelles" he gets to tribute the entirety of the opponent's field, which is one of the craziest field nukes. Instead of cheaitng a "Nouvelles" Ritual from the Deck this Warrior can tribute 1 Face-up Attack position to summon Hungry Burger from the Deck... which is basically a brick and just a body, but the Deck has ways to prevent you from bricking on it.
Concours de Cuisine (Confectionery Contest) Emergency Teleports Poissoniere and in an unexpected cross-over Patissciel Couverture ,a TCG exclusive from Dimension Force, to either field, giving you a search and two bodies for the "Nouvelles" effects. Unfortunately this card does lock you out of your Extra Deck, only letting you use those two monsters for summons. This card like Poissoniere's Pendulum effect has an effect that targets a Nouvelles triggering their effects upon being banished from the GY.
Voici la Carte (Today's Menu) is the Deck's Reinforcement of the Army revealing 2 of a Warrior, Fiend or Beast-Warrior giving your opponent the option between which one will be added to your hand and giving you their respective Ritual Spell.
Nouvelles Restaurant "At Table" is the Deck's obligatory add on activation Field Spell, fetching you a "Recipe" card which most of the time will be their Counter Trap granted you did your combos already. It also let's you put Hungry Brick and the higher level Rituals back in the Deck while giving you a draw for it, and during the Endphase it recycles a "Nouvelles" or "Recipe" and another card from the GY drawing 1, offering the Deck some grind.
Recette de Viande (Meat Recipe) and Recette de Poisson (Fish Recipe) are very basic Ritual Spells which have bonus effect based if you summoned the mentioned Ritual, which is why Carte adds the respective Spell, Fish Recipe summon Buer fetches you a "Recipe" Ritual Spell while Meat Recipe changes monsters to attack-position if you summoned Confiras which makes it less desirable since Confiras is not that good.
As for their last card Chef's Special Recipe is a negate Counter Trap if you control a "Nouvelles" Ritual monster, while having a bonus GY effect that tributes all monsters the opponent controls when you summon Hungry Burger which is very redundant considering Bael will have nuked the opponent's field by then.
=Combo Example=
Concours de Cuisine (Confectionery Contest) + any of the Ritual Spells:
Confectionery summons Poissoniere to your field and Couverture to their's > Poissoniere adds Buer > Poissoniere gets tributed by the Recipe summoning Buer > Buer gets to add something and Poissoniere gets put in the Pendulum zone > Poissoniere targets Buer which will tribute itself and Couverture summoning Poel > Poel Draws 1 and Poissoniere is summoned back in > Contest targets Poel which will tribute Poissoniere and itself summoning Balam > Poissoniere will be put in the Pendulum Zone and Balam will fetch "At Table" which will be adding Special Recipe.
This ends on 4 Tributes, 1 Negate and 1 DRNM with recycling during the endphase.
