Started out trying to make a deck around the Draconia cards. Then it turned into a pet project of mine. I’ve fine tuned it and it performed well at locals, obviously it struggled against the top decks like Salamangreats and Orcust but all in all I feel like it did well for it just being a casual deck.
Basically you want to see Rescue Rabbit turn one. If you don’t; Unexpected Dai works as a backdoor opener. Both is even better. You want to do some Electrumite plays, usually targeting Hallohallo, for some synchro plays. If your going first, you want to end with a Apollousa, Dawn Dragster, and Borreload Savage ideally. Sometimes all it can muster is two of the three, which is fine.
If you are going second, which is better with this deck imo, you want to use the Utopia Double package for big damage. Also you could work in a level 8 synchro to augment what little life points your opponent would have left. Otherwise you can cheese number 82 for game.
I like this deck a lot, it really have the versatility to deal with just about any situation. Which is why I side Black-Winged dragon for the occasional burn deck. Obviously it’s not a top tier deck, and it bricks if you draw all vanillas or the “garnet” double or nothing. I’ve experimented with the side cards for a more control based strategy but it’s even more inconsistent. I tried out some Igknights and even took royal magical library for a spin, no dice. If you guys have any suggestions I’d love to hear them. This deck has become my side Yugioh project and I’d love to somehow make it more viable than my Altergeist deck. Which is doubtful but I’m having fun with it.
