Just something I've been messing with for a bit trying to see if I could make Nordics at last somewhat playable, works well enough I think...!!! Pretty simple, for your full combo you just need at least Rite of Aramesir, any of the fiendsmith cards and at least 1 Nordic in hand to start you off(mainly Alviss), if you don't start with this setup, that's your fault and Odin doesn't love you. Chicken game + terraforming are just there as filler since I didn't really know what else to put, feel free to take em out but the extra draw can help if that's anything I guess. The basic play is summoning an adventurer token (do not put the token or anything else that you want to stay on the field in a spot that blocks the Nordic link's arrow, leave that clear for an aesir) and once fateful adventure is set, activate any of the fiendsmith cards you may have and get lurrie, discard him and once summoned just get requiem out, then engraver, equip requiem to engraver and summon necroquip and summon engraver with his own effect from the grave. At any point during this fateful adventure will ask to add or equip dracoback, just add it, it's better if it's in your hand for certain applications, then search for gryphon rider and discard dracoback so you can equip it to the token. XYZ summon Beatrice with Necro and engraver and send the nordic throne spell (I'm not spelling that shit) and search any Nordic monster you want and send the least important card in your hand back to the deck. Ideally you'd want Alviss as one of the 2 Nordics in hand otherwise you'll have to sacrifice a good chunk of your field and hand to summon an aesir. Normal whatever Nordic you have and link it off into Gullveig and banish Alviss, then summon Ivaldi, activate Ivaldi, search for Svalinn then activate Alviss, send any of the Nordic beasts to the gy and summon one of the aesirs into the zone Gullveig points to (mainly Odin, it doesn't matter too much but you should do this or I will turn you into paste). At this point you're locked so just set svalinn and pass your turn if there's nothing else left to do. On your opponent's turn, send the black goat laughs with Beatrice and activate that whenever's convenient if you know what your opponent's playing, gryphon rider is another negate and svalinn will save your ass every turn. That's pretty much it. Very vulnerable to handtraps n going second but if you pray to the aesirs every day then you don't need to worry about that, losing with Nordics is entirely your fault and you should be ashamed for not believing in the Norse gods.
