Most HERO decks focus too much on spamming out monsters with little to no support when it comes to being defensive. I have focused this deck around the same basic combos (vyon, send shadow mist to the graveyard, etc) but have also added some defenses. The ability to use super poly, the hand traps and normal traps make for some okay counters to whatever your opponent is doing, and the use of fusion recovery helps when you are a few turns in and have exhausted most of your monsters. We have 3 copies of stratos for is functionality and for summoning divine wind with mask change. We also use bubbleman and ocean to get out masked hero acid or absolute zero, two fantastic cards. The ability to get out big damage monsters with E HEROES and the great effects of the MASKED HEROES combo very well together. Sunrise is a good first fusion that will let you miracle fusion out The Shining which will have 600 more attack points, or 900 if you banished your shadow mist by means of vyon earlier that turn.
