Monarchs

Archetipical monarch deck, focused on generating advantage by consistently realizing tribute summons every turn, and using the extremely powerful monarch traps and spells to prevent your opponent from performing their gameplan

A stronger version of this deck would defnitely include Tessera the Primal Squire and possibly include Thestalos the Shadowfire Monarch, but that might raise the power level of this deck too much for the games I intend to use it on. And while Thestalos looks cool, Tessera I feel ust outclasses every single vassal and even the other squires, possibly making the deck just less interesting to pilot

A "old style" monarch deck should remove Eidos the Underworld Monarch, as it was released in 2025. It greatly increased the consistency and power level of the deck by allowing you to repeatedly tutor for the spells you need, as well as giving you more bodies. I would not recommend it, as without it the deck is somewhat inconsistent and has a huge problem going first (this version still has, but way less), being simply less fun to play even in a casual enviorment
