Made a bit of progression on my previous Rikka Deck. Card count is up to 50 from 45, but I've gotten it down to 42 with good ratios. This 50 card variant has been my bookmark/point of reference to go back whenever I scrap an idea.
Monster card selection is pretty established. I've re-re-re-submitted Evil Thorn back into the deck profile. I still do not like the low chance, random situation of drawing 2 or even all 3 copies of Evil Thorn. [Oh, it will never happen.] But it can, and it will, and it has.
Rikka cards are at bare minimal due to Evil Thorn. (Again, another reason I don't really want to use Evil Thorn.)
Rikka Petal, as my starter, has a 74%(@40 cards), 73%(@41c), 72%(@42c) , 71%(@43c), 70%(@44c). 44 being the largest size of the deck, I'm willing to settle for. Starting %'s do not factor in One for One. Just Rikka Petal, Glamour, Lonefire.
Spell and Trap cards are for control and countering. With this deck, I am very much, not scared to trade resources. Pollinosis has to be used for its spell speed and proccing tribute effects. I should be, ideally, triggering effects and re-arranging every turn; not just my turn. Strenna, ranking up. Kanzashi, GY stealing. Flurries, popping off.
Strenna role is to recur Rikka cards and then Pot of Avarice, is to recur all plants back into deck.
Field Spells are still an experiment... if doesn't pan out I can always replace those 7 or so cards with something more useful.
Once I can get a good base for the deck, I will add more meta-compliant, staple cards. Reason why my extra deck looks the way it does. I don't need anything distracting in it, while I work out the main deck core.
Deck surprisingly, and hilarious strong 1st turn setup against Dragoon.
edit: pulled Trap package. solid 42 card profile.
