Mitsurugi Ogdoadic - February 2025

Mitsurugi combos :

Option 1 - When you have it and a Mitsurugi Ritual monster in hand : 

   --> Activate the second effect (can't be Ashed), Tribute Saji and Kusanagi, summon Ame or Futsu from hand, then trigger both effects from GY (CL1 Saji, CL2 Kusanagi so you chainblock the Ash again), add Ritual from GY and Prayers from deck. 

   --> Activate the first effect, Tribute the Ritual monster on field, summon the Ritual monster you did not summon on step 1. The Tributed monster comes back, and adds Great Purification, Set both Prayers and Great Purification.  

   --> If you also opened either Saji or Kusanagi, in step 1, use Night Sword Serpent as for the first Ritual, it revives itself. Then Norm the one you opened.

Option 2 - When you have it and Saji :

   --> Norm it, add Prayers, activate it to add a Ritual monster, then go into previous combo, minus the Set Prayers at the end.

Option 3 - When you have only Saji :

   --> Norm it, add Mitsurugi Ritual, activate it to summon a Ritual monster from deck using Ogdo and stuff, then go into previous combo.

Option 4 - When you have nothing :

   --> Play the Ogdo combo, and the bazillion cards that summon Reptiles from deck and GY without Normal Summoning, then go into Feral Imp to add Saji, then back to combo. 

Ogdoadic combos : 

   --> Nauya : sends a LIGHT Reptile from deck to GY. Targets : Nunu to revive itself and go into Feral Imp to add a Mitsurugi ; Keurse to revive itself and a Lv4 Ogdo and go into Echidna ; Aron to revive itself, handrip 1, and add a Reptile (last part is kind of unreliable). Also adds Daybreak. 

   --> Nunu : sends a DARK Reptile from deck to GY. Targets : all the Mitsurugi, Nauya, and Nephilabyss for later revival and setup.

Locks :

   --> Nunu locks you in Reptile as long as it is face-up.

   --> Nephilabyss locks you in Reptile until the end of the next turn when you use his self-revive.
