Has Red-Eyes finally reached it's full potential? To quote Red-Eyes Black Dragon's original flavour text, Now it's "a ferocious dragon with a deadly NEGATE!"
What happens when Bystials are relevant in the meta, and a critical mass of handtraps are mandatory to actually play Yugioh? You get this 20+ handtrap monstrosity capable of turboing out Bystial Dis Pater, Chaos Angel and best of all, Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon!
Functioning as a midrange-aggro deck with a robust resource grindgame, Horus Bystial kind of reminds me of Dragonlink except with more Synchro boss monsters and less combo steps! Ever since this interesting strategy's inception and evolution throughout this year, I wanted to give the deck another try after the September 2 TCG banlist because I have a soft spot for unique aggro decks with a "control then OTK" playstyle.
Hardcounter Yubel, Fiendsmith variants, I:P Masquerena and more as you throw a metric ton of Bystials at your opponent while you summon Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon!
