Melodious Pendulum

Melodious got new support but I decided to try what has been tried in the OCG and play it in a more pendulum focused build. The reason for this might not be clear so let me explain.

Ostinato has always been a powerful card(a melodious themed fusion destiny) but the monsters it dumps and summons has always been what held it back. And while in Pure Melodious it can be a powerful starter, it can also be a starter in more Light themed decks. This is because ostinato is a 1 card combo that gives you multiple bodies on board and sets scales while never putting you under a lock. 

Here's the Combo: 

1. Activate Ostinatio, sending Refrain and Couplet to summon Bacha

2. Use Bacha to summon out Refrain, which searches the second Couplet(if you didnt nat draw it)

3. Scale Couplet and use its eff to search Concerto.

4. Use Concerto to fuse the Couplet and Refrain and make another Bacha

5. Activate Couplet and Refrain to set scales.

You now have 2 Level 7 Fusions on board and scales of 1 and 9 set and the only lock is you can only pendelum summon Light monsters while couplet is in a Pend scale. From here there are numerous lines to take. The 2 bachas can go into absolute dragon and if you have another other Pendulum monster you can normal summon it(cause you hadn't normal summoned yet) then link off for Beyond the Pendulum which will trigger 4 different effects: 1. Beyond the Pends search

2. Absolute summoning Vortex dragon

3. Bacha bringing back one of the Melodious Pendulums you used for ostinato

4. Concerto putting itself on the bottom of the deck to draw 1.

From here the rest of the turn will depend on what your hand looks like but going first you can consistently end on masq, vortex, Exceed which can bring back bodies to go into a bigger Appolusa or just be used for little knight. 

And while it may seem like refrain and Couplet are bricks, they really arent. Refrain on normal summon searches Couplet, which gets you to Concerto, which can fusion summon the 2 monsters into bacha, the 2 pends set scales and bacha summons out either one and both go into Beyond the Pend or an Online Little knight if you are going second. Plus They are both just good scales with the only restriction being Couplet locking you into pend summoning Lights when its a scale

The deck also has a lot of space for non engine in the main deck. My build has 12 flex spots but I also included some tech choices like Monkeyboard and Harmonizing which are not necessary in varying builds. You can feel free to experiment as I have seen some sucess with Soul of the Supreme Celestial King builds however those require ED space and the ED is already very tight in this build, with only 3 flex spots.
