An interesting take worth exploring, but most likely sub-optimal.
Some interesting ratios in the deck, we are playing nabla and multiplication, despite siding final sigma, simply because I needed something to fill the slots. Same with the third sigma. Mathmech Equation SHOULD be an induction since its a searchable Mine out, but guess what I dont have an induction, and an extender that also turns whatever it reborns into a better beater isnt necessarily BAD, but if you have an induction definitely run that instead.
The "spice" in this take on mathmech is in the side, being able to side in 5 more hand traps and siding in pitknight + heatsoul is a viable option you can side into. Now if you draw into imperm while you have heatsoul, uuuuuh it sucks, which is why more realistically you will side out probably the DRNM for nib, and 2 of the imperms for veiler, bringin your hand trap count up to 12 which is a little low for heatsoul but workable.
This obviously isn't the approach you want to take vs spright, since gigantic makes nib a brick, but with more people opting to run board breakers instead of hand traps some, rogue decks that make insane endboards (think maybe raidraptor kali yuga turbo), but die to nib or a well placed veiler might start stealing more games at the local or regional level, so at the very least I think nib is worth siding this format. Maybe not heatsoul, we'll see.
A more standard sideboard would probably run Dimensional Barrier at 3 in addition to rivalry, you call XYZ vs spright and you call fusion vs tear. Still hits a good amount of the format. Ironically I think nib is pretty good for the mathmech mirror, assuming that you can bait out the diameter negate with something like an ash or imperm before going for the nib. No idea what is good vs Rikka. Obviously rivalry does nothing, and since they run the sunavalon link package D barrier is sub optimal as well. Unsure if they play into nib. Anti-spell is probably the move vs rikka, keep them off the field spell at all costs, but that only works going first. If going second, it may be prudent to treat the rikka field spell like mine, and side in the cosmics.
TL;DR: The current side deck is experimental, siding into heatsoul + more hand traps to draw with heatsoul, designed to try and crush random rogue decks that normally aren't prepared for. A more standard side deck would remove the veilers, the heatsoul, the pitknight, and final sigma (5 cards), for 2 anti-spell fragrance, and 3 Dimensional Barrier. Nib is worth siding either way. Also the main deck ratios are kind of fucked, but that's just because those are the cards I have.
