HERO is a very difficult archetype to incorporate with other archetypal non-HERO cards. The reason for this is because there are just so many different HERO cards that either lock you into specifically only being able to Summon HERO monsters from the Extra Deck like in the case of Vision HERO Faris or those that are only able to use their effects if you’ve only Summoned HERO monsters during the current turn like Xtra HERO Cross Crusader and Xtra HERO Infernal Devicer. Because of that, it has been really hard for me to try to make a Prediction Princess Deck with any of HERO’s 7 Level 9 monsters because the cards that I would need to get to them either lock you into HERO monsters in some capacity, they only function when played with a multitude of other HERO monsters and cards en masse, or they are just too specifically designed for HERO that it would be a significant detriment to try to use them outside of a dedicated HERO Deck. Also, keep in mind that 4 out of the 7 Level 9 HERO monsters are Triple Contact Fusion Neos monsters, which I was able to actually make work in an extremely jank way through the same Decklist as my Dark Sage Prediction Princess Deck, but since Isolde got banned, that all but is impossible now. Elemental HERO Core is probably the easiest one to Summon since all it requires is 3 Elemental HERO monsters as Fusion Material, but because it is an EARTH monster in a Fusion Deck that cannot access Synchros for Ib the World Chalice Justiciar and has to hard-draw World Legacy Monstrosity, that is also pretty bad. Elemental HERO Neos Kluger is the next easiest one to Summon except that it also has the issue of having to hard-draw Monstrosity and the fact that it was not easy to get Elemental HERO Neos and Yubel into rotation, although it might be very feasible now with the Supreme Darkness Evil HERO support. But even harder than Core, Kluger, and the Triple Contact Fusion Neos Monsters is Contrast HERO Chaos. It is a Level 9 DARK Warrior Fusion Monster who requires 2 Masked HERO monsters as Fusion Material, it is always treated as an Elemental HERO monster (thank God), and it must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. While face-up on the field, it is also LIGHT Attribute, and as a soft once per turn during either player’s turn, it can target a face-up card on the field and negate its effects until the end of the turn. This card is impossibly hard to Summon considering that it needs 2 Masked HERO monsters, which only used to consist of Fusion Monsters that could only be Special Summoned by the effect of Mask Change. HERO Decks could make this card by going through 2 Masked HERO monsters and then using Favorite Contact to Fusion Summon this card on your opponent’s turn if they for some reason did not want to make Elemental HERO Shining Neos Wingman. But the easiest possible way to make this card turn 1 was to Gale Dogra pay 6000 Life Points to send 2 Masked HEROs from the Extra Deck to GY and then Miracle Fusion them into Contrast HERO Chaos. Thankfully, we now have Main Deck Masked HERO monsters from the OCG’s Tactical Try Pack which includes support for Dark Magician, Masked HEROs, and Mikanko (Here’s to hoping for an easier way to make Arahime the Manifested Mikanko). That, alongside the SUDA Evil HERO Support (which is just Dead-End Prison) makes it very easy to Summon Contrast HERO Chaos.
The combos for this Deck are not weird, but there are many possible ways to get to full combo based on what your starting hand looks like. There are many hands that get you to full combo with many also giving you literally nothing. The combo I will be describing uses A Hero Lives and any Prediction Princess card, but I will pivot to what some of the other combos look like when I finish or at certain points. Let’s say we have A Hero Lives and Prediction Princess Tarotrei. Activate A Hero Lives and pay half your Life Points to Special Summon Elemental HERO Stratos from your Deck. Stratos activates to search for Vision HERO Vyon from Deck. Normal Summon Vyon and activate its effect to send Evil HERO Sinister Necrom from your Deck to the GY. Activate Sinister Necrom’s effect in GY, banishing it to Special Summon Evil HERO Dead-End Prison from Deck. Activate Dead-End Prison’s effect to send Elemental HERO Shadow Mist from Deck to GY. Shadow Mist triggers to search for Masked HERO Dusk Crow from Deck. Activate Vyon’s second effect, banishing Shadow Mist from GY to search Polymerization from Deck. Link Vyon and Dead-End Prison into Xtra HERO Wonder Driver. Activate Dusk Crow’s effect in hand, banishing Dead-End Prison from GY to Special Summon itself to any of your Monster Zones except the one that Wonder Driver points to. Dusk Crow activates on Special Summon to search for Masked HERO Furnace. Activate Poly to Fusion Summon Contrast HERO Chaos to the Zone that Wonder Driver points to. Chain Link 1 Wonder Driver (since its mandatory) targeting Poly in GY, Chain Link 2 Furnace in GY. Furnace Special Summons itself back from GY and Wonder Driver sets Poly from GY. Now, if we had another Dusk Crow in hand, we could activate Poly to Fusion Summon another Contrast HERO Chaos using it and the Furnace on field. But since we don’t we can just banish Wonder Driver, Stratos, and Furnace from field in order to Special Summon Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment from our Extra Deck. That gives us 2 Level 9s on field to Xyz Summon Mereologic Aggreagator which sends Herald of the Arc Light from Extra Deck to GY for a Ritual search, and then it can reattach the Herald. Then, Linking off the Aggregator (who is presumably in the EMZ) for a Gravity Controller, we get another Ritual search. Because we opened Tarotrei, those Ritual searches will be for Prediction Princess Tarotreith and Underworld Ritual of Prediction which gives us full Prediction Princess combo. But let’s say that we did not open A Hero Lives. Stratos is no longer a part of our field before we make Trishula. That’s still fine as we can just activate the Poly that Wonder Driver set in order to Fusion Summon Trishula using Furnace, Wonder Driver, and Tarotrei in hand. Tarotrei being sent to the GY does not matter as Underworld Ritual can Ritual Summon from GY. But in the advent that we did not has Stratos or the Prediction Princess card in hand, if we drew World Legacy Monstrosity, we can activate it targeting Chaos in order to Special Summon Deus-X Krawler and Prediction Princess Bibliomuse from Deck which still translates to full combo. Now let’s say that you opened Vyon and 4 other cards that get you nowhere to combo. Go through the previous combo I mentioned, but after you Summon Dusk Crow and search for Furnace, activate Furnace in hand to search for Mask Change and then discard a card. You are now locked into HERO monsters, but you will still be able to make a decent endboard without the Prediction Princess cards. Proceed through the rest of the combo until you get back to the part where Wonder Driver sets Poly from GY and Furnace Special Summons itself back from GY. Activate Mask Change on Furnace to Special Summon Masked HERO Atomic from Extra Deck which Special Summons Dusk Crow from GY on Special Summon. Now, you could Link Summon Wonder Driver and Dusk Crow into Xtra HERO Dread Decimator to boost your Chaos and Atomic or you can proceed to the End Phase in which Atomic sets Mask Change from GY. Now, during your opponent’s turn, you can Mask Change Dusk Crow into Masked HERO Dark Law which gives you Dark Law and Chaos as ways you can mess with your opponent. It’s not great, but it still beats ending on nothing.
For the Main Deck Monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei can Quick Effect flip a monster on field face-up or face-down and she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down during your End Phase. Tarotreith must either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei's effect in the End Phase. Her Flip Effect Special Summons a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can also Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back face-down after being Tributed and sent there. Her Flip Effect adds a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand and while she is face-up on the field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s card effects. 1 Deus-X Krawler which negates all activated monster effects on your opponent's side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute. 1 Pot of the Forbidden which has a Flip Effect that lets you choose between Drawing 2 cards, returning all Spell/Traps on the field to the hand, destroying all monsters your opponent controls, or looking at your opponent's hand and shuffling a card from it back into the Deck. For the Evil HEROs, 1 each of Evil HERO Sinister Necrom and Evil HERO Dead-End Prison. Sinister Necrom can banish itself from GY to Special Summon an Evil HERO from hand or Deck other than another Sinister Necrom. This card is a hard brick that you do not want to draw as you want to keep it in Deck to send off of Vyon. Dead-End Prison has 1 effect that we are specifically using it for. You can send a HERO from your Deck to your GY as cost, and if you do, if you Fusion Summon a HERO monster this turn, Dead-End Prison can be used as a substitute Fusion Material monster for a specific monster. While this card may look like another copy of Vyon, the fact that you can use Vyon to send Sinister Necrom who Summons Dead-End Prison from Deck gives you another body on field while also giving you the ability to dump a HERO from Deck. However, it is another brick, but it doesn’t hurt as much to draw compared to Sinister Necrom as it can still translate to Dark Law or Contrast HERO Chaos at the very least. For the Masked HEROs: 1 Masked HERO Furnace and 3 Masked HERO Dusk Crow. Furnace can reveal itself in hand to search for a Mask Change or a Polymerization and then discard a card, but this effect locks you into HERO monsters for the Extra Deck the turn you use it. Also, if you Special Summon a non-FIRE HERO Fusion Monster, you can Special Summon it from hand or GY but banish it when it leaves the field. Dusk Crow can banish a HERO from GY to Special Summon itself from hand, and if it is Normal or Special Summoned you can search your Deck for a Masked HERO except for another copy of Dusk Crow. Then we have 3 Vision HERO Vyon which can send a HERO monster from Deck to GY on Normal or Special Summon, and you can also banish a HERO from GY to search for a Polymerization. 2 Elemental HERO Stratos which searches for a HERO monster on Summon. 1 Elemental HERO Shadow Mist which adds a Change Quick-Play Spell from Deck on Special Summon and if it is sent to the GY, you can add a HERO monster from your Deck to your hand. But you can only use 1 effect per turn and only once that turn. Finally, 3 Mulcharmy Fuwalos and 3 Droll & Lock Bird.
Spell/Traps: 1 Polymerization. 1 Mask Change which targets a HERO you control and sends it to the GY to Special Summon a Masked HERO from your Extra Deck with the same original Attribute as that monster. 3 A Hero Lives which can pay half your Life Points to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Elemental HERO from your Deck if you control no face-up monsters. Notably, this card is not once per turn, so if the first one gets negated, you can activate another. 1 Reinforcement of the Army. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which can Ritual Summon a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY face-up or face-down and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess monster from Deck face-down. 3 World Legacy Monstrosity which can either Special Summon a Level 9 monster from your hand or target a Level 9 monster you control to Special Summon 2 Level 9 monsters from your Deck with a different type and Attribute, but with different names. 1 Pot of Prosperity. And 3 Infinite Impermanence.
Extra Deck: 1 Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment. 2 Contrast HERO Chaos. 1 Masked HERO Atomic which must be Special Summoned using Mask Change. The first time it would be destroyed each turn, it is not. On Special Summon you can target a non-FIRE Masked HERO monster in your GY or banishment and Special Summon it, and during your End Phase, it can target and set a Change Quick-Play Spell from your GY. 1 Masked HERO Dark Law which must be Special Summoned with Mask Change. While it is face-up on the field, any card sent to your opponent’s GY is banished instead, and once per turn, if your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand except during the Draw Phase or the damage step, you can banish a random card from your opponent’s hand. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which adds a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand if it is sent to the GY. 2 Mereologic Aggregator, 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows, and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. 1 Xtra HERO Dread Decimator which requires 2+ HEROs as material and it and any HEROs it points to gains 100 ATK for each HERO monster with a different name in your GY, also, it can deal piercing damage. 1 Xtra HERO Wonder Driver which requires 2 HERO monsters as material. If a HERO is Normal or Special Summoned to your zone it points to, it must target a Polymerization Spell or a Fusion Spell or a Change Quick-Play Spell in your GY and set it. Also, if it is destroyed by battle or an opponent’s card effect and sent to the GY, you can Special Summon a HERO from your hand. 1 S:P Little Knight and 1 Gravity Controller.
Side Deck: 3 Nibiru, the Primal Being, 2 Mulcharmy Purulia, 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, 2 Lightning Storm, 2 Dark Ruler No More, and 3 Evenly Matched.
