Masayuki Rudra - Utopia Heroic Champion [Low Rogue]

Power: Low Rogue (7.6/10) - This is a stronger and fully current-TCG-legal Link Evolution version of Masayuki's Utopia / Heroic Champion deck. It keeps the heroic Rank 4 identity, but replaces illegal boss cards and dead payoff slots with cleaner OTK and toolbox options. It stays Low Rogue because the deck can absolutely steal games with Utopia Double, Utopia the Lightning, Excalibur, and Dugares, but it is still an older Xyz strategy that can fold to well-timed interruption.

Consistency: Strong for a theme-first Rank 4 deck. Onomatopaira, Onomatopickup, Utopic Onomatopoeia, Zubababancho Gagagacoat, Dodododwarf Gogogoglove, Reinforcement of the Army, Photon Thrasher, Tin Goldfish, Goblindbergh, Kagetokage, Assault Halberd, and Instant Fusion all help put two Level 4 bodies on board.

Ceiling: Good. The main kill line is Utopia Double into a 10,000 ATK Number 39: Utopia with Double or Nothing. Utopia the Lightning gives a safer battle-push option, Heroic Champion - Excalibur can become a huge attacker, Extra Sword raises the damage ceiling, Dugares can double ATK or dig, and Exciton Knight can reset messy boards.

Recovery: Medium. Dodododwarf and Zubababancho create follow-up, Thousand Blades can recur after damage, Monster Reborn gives one more body, and Onomatopickup/Onomatopaira keep the engine connected. Still, most turns commit multiple cards into one Xyz play, so the deck wants to end games quickly once it forces an opening.

Going first/second: Best going second, where the side deck brings Dark Ruler No More, Evenly Matched, Nibiru, Droll, Cosmic Cyclone, Harpie's Feather Duster, Pankratops, and Gameciel. Going first is playable through Bagooska, Gandiva, Kusanagi, Ash Blossom, Infinite Impermanence, and sometimes a conservative Utopia setup, but the deck is much scarier when it can attack.

Choke points: Stop Onomatopaira or Onomatopickup before the hand becomes two matching Level 4s. Remove the first extender before Utopia Double resolves. Negating Utopia Double usually ends the OTK line. If Double or Nothing is drawn early or removed, the Utopia Double kill becomes much weaker. Graveyard disruption against Dodododwarf, Zubababancho, and Thousand Blades also cuts off follow-up.

Key combos: Onomatopaira discards a spare card to search Utopic Onomatopoeia plus Zubababancho or Dodododwarf. Utopic Onomatopoeia plus any extender makes Utopia Double, which searches Double or Nothing and ranks into Utopia for the 10,000 ATK attack. Extra Sword used as material makes Excalibur hit even harder. Instant Fusion summons Mudragon as an extra Level 4 body. Dugares can double an attacker for lethal or draw into missing pieces. Bagooska gives the deck a simple going-first fallback when an OTK is not available.
