Power: Low Rogue (6.1/10) - This is now fully TCG-legal and stronger than the old casual shell, but it remains Low Rogue because The Seal of Orichalcos is a flavorful power card with a real cost. It boosts the Harpie board, but it also destroys your Special Summoned monsters on activation and turns off Extra Deck summons while it is face-up.
Consistency: Improved. The deck now uses a cleaner Harpie core with Channeler, Perfumer, Queen, Harpist, Hysteric Sign, and Harpie Lady 1, while Terraforming and three copies of The Seal of Orichalcos make the Orichalcos plan show up often. Pot of Extravagance helps find either Seal or the Harpie starters.
Ceiling: Moderate. The best plan is to build a Harpie board first, then commit to Seal when you are ready to play beatdown. Harpie Lady 1 plus Seal turns ordinary WIND bodies into real damage, while Hysteric Sign and Hysteric Party give follow-up. If Seal is not active yet, the Extra Deck still offers Lightning Chidori, Bagooska, Exciton Knight, Utopia the Lightning, Harpie Conductor, Knightmare Unicorn, and Borrelsword.
Recovery: Solid for an Orichalcos build. Hysteric Sign reloads multiple Harpie cards in the End Phase, Hysteric Party rebuilds from the GY, Harpist finds follow-up, and Harpie's Feather Rest recycles used names after the first push.
Going first/second: Best when it can choose its mode. Going first, set up Sign, Party, Impermanence, Solemn Judgment, or a defensive Rank 4 before locking yourself under Seal. Going second, Harpie's Feather Duster, Hunting Ground, Lightning Chidori, Evenly Matched, Dark Ruler No More, Nibiru, Cosmic Cyclone, and Twin Twisters help clear a path before the Seal beatdown turn.
Choke points: Remove or negate Hysteric Sign before the End Phase search, stop Channeler or Perfumer before they convert into bodies and searches, and force Seal early so it destroys the pilot's own Special Summoned monsters. Backrow removal is best after Seal has already used its once-per-turn destruction protection.
Key cards: The Seal of Orichalcos, Harpie Lady 1, Harpie Channeler, Harpie Perfumer, Harpie Queen, Hysteric Sign, Elegant Egotist, Hysteric Party, Harpie's Feather Duster, Pot of Extravagance, Lightning Chidori, Harpie Conductor.
Key combos: Queen or Terraforming finds the field spell mode you need. Harpie Lady 1 plus The Seal of Orichalcos gives your WIND board a meaningful ATK push. Channeler discards Harpist or Sign to summon another Harpie and set up Rank 4 or Link plays before Seal is activated. Hysteric Sign searches Elegant Egotist early, or searches multiple Harpie cards later if it reaches the GY. Hysteric Party discards a card, often Sign, to rebuild a board for either Extra Deck pressure or Seal-backed combat.
