Power: Low Rogue (6.9/10) - This is the most resource-focused Mai Harpie build, but it can no longer be High Rogue because the old Simorgh package is not TCG legal. Harpie's Feather Storm, Simorgh, Bird of Sovereignty, Apollousa, and the related lock-style ceiling have been removed, so the deck now wins through Hysteric Sign advantage, trap pressure, and fair Rank 4/Link plays.
Consistency: Strong for a theme deck. The list maxes Harpie Channeler, Harpie Perfumer, Harpie Queen, Harpie Harpist, Hysteric Sign, and Harpie Lady 1, with Pot of Extravagance helping find starters or interaction. The deck is built to see Sign often, either as an Elegant Egotist searcher or as a delayed End Phase reload after it reaches the GY.
Ceiling: Moderate-high for Low Rogue. The best turns convert Sign, Egotist, Hunting Ground, and Hysteric Party into several bodies, then use Lightning Chidori, Ice Beast Zerofyne, Tornado Dragon, Castel, Bagooska, Exciton Knight, Utopia the Lightning, Harpie Conductor, Knightmare Unicorn, or Borrelsword Dragon to break or close games.
Recovery: Very good by Harpie standards. Hysteric Sign can replace itself with multiple Harpie cards in the End Phase, Harpist finds follow-up, Hysteric Party revives a board from the GY, and Harpie's Feather Rest recycles spent names after the first wave has traded resources.
Going first/second: Best going first as a control deck. Open with Sign, Hunting Ground, Impermanence, Solemn Judgment, Icarus Attack, Hysteric Party, or a defensive Rank 4, then use the End Phase search to set up the next turn. Going second, Harpie's Feather Duster, Hunting Ground, Lightning Chidori, Evenly Matched, Dark Ruler No More, Nibiru, Cosmic Cyclone, and Twin Twisters help force boards open.
Choke points: Remove Hysteric Sign before it can reach the GY cleanly, stop Perfumer before it finds Elegant Egotist or Feather Rest, interrupt Channeler before it turns a discard into a second body, and clear Hysteric Party before it converts the GY into another board. Ash Blossom on Sign's End Phase search can be devastating.
Key cards: Hysteric Sign, Harpie Channeler, Harpie Perfumer, Harpie Harpist, Harpie Queen, Harpie Lady 1, Elegant Egotist, Harpies' Hunting Ground, Hysteric Party, Icarus Attack, Harpie's Feather Rest, Lightning Chidori, Harpie Conductor.
Key combos: Hysteric Sign searches Elegant Egotist, and if Sign is sent from the hand or field to the GY it can search multiple Harpie cards in the End Phase. Harpie Queen searches Hunting Ground, which can turn repeated Harpie summons into removal and can also send your own Sign when you want the delayed search. Channeler discards Harpist or Sign to summon another Harpie from deck. Hysteric Party discards a spare card, often Sign, to revive multiple Harpies for Rank 4, Conductor, Unicorn, or Borrelsword lines.
