The Magical Muskets have been some of my favorite cards for awhile now, they have a cool aesthetic and have a huge amount of flexibility when it comes to how they can control the game. Literally any strategy that uses a spell or trap card can start to build advantage with these cards. The extra cards do add up, overwhelming your opponent until they have nothing left. Unfortunately their ceiling was unjustifiably capped, they weren't xenophobic but with no modern, generic, fiend support they had no true way of recovering if your opponent could overwhelm your interactions...
But um these Labrynth cards are like really good. They have an actual win condition and are pretty consistent in achieving said condition. Beyond being good, they provide generic fiend support... and they mainly run through trap cards... you see where I'm going with this?
Beyond the already amazing Labrynth, the new ~Muckraker From the Underworld adds a huge amount of flexibility and recovery to the deck. With it we can use a Tour Guide to get into a Musket names and get off to the races.
I was having a lot of fun with this concept, it was very powerful, very flexible and very fun. Playing it made me feel blissful almost serene in a way. And then I had an idea that damned this deck to hell. Because we have quite a few ways in engine to trigger a Kelbek or Agido... and the recovery of these cards are pretty insane between cards like ~Big Welcome Labrynth or ~Labrynth Set-Up and ~Magical Musketeer Wild or ~Magical Musketeer Doc... so if we were to oh I don't know discard a copy of Keblek off a Muckraker and mill 5 cards... we'd essentially have a second hand to work with in theory.
This story is why I bring my sins before you. I tried to make it cool by adding in a little artifact package to add more fairy names and keeping in line with the trap theme. :)
