Power: Low Rogue (6.5/10) - This is a stronger, fully TCG-legal Link Evolution Noble Knight build, but it stays Low Rogue because the current TCG list forbids Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights. Without that old shortcut, Leon plays as a fair equip-control deck built around Medraut, Borz, Custennin, Heritage, Glory, Pot of Extravagance, and the Artorigus Xyz monsters.
Consistency: Good. The deck maxes Noble Knight Medraut, Noble Knight Borz, Noble Knight Custennin, Heritage of the Chalice, and Glory of the Noble Knights, with Reinforcement of the Army and Pot of Extravagance helping find playable openings. The extra engine bodies, Gwenhwyfar, and two copies of Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again give the deck more follow-up than the older Isolde-dependent version.
Ceiling: Moderate. The best hands establish an equipped Noble Knight, use Medraut or Borz to build advantage, then convert into Artorigus, Sacred Artorigus, or Sacred Custennin. Morgan gives the deck an in-theme negate, Drystan can remove a face-up card when equipped, and Excaliburn lets a Noble Knight Xyz upgrade into another Artorigus body on a later turn.
Recovery: Solid. Noble Arms of Destiny, Caliburn, Arfeudutyr, and Excaliburn can re-equip after being destroyed, Heritage can come back after a properly equipped Noble Knight is destroyed by battle, and Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again gives both top-deck selection and delayed deck access from the GY. Pot of Extravagance helps reload, and the Extra Deck runs duplicated Noble Knight Xyz monsters so random banishes are less punishing.
Going first/second: Slightly better going first. Going first, aim for an equipped Noble Knight backed by Morgan, Infinite Impermanence, Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again, and a Noble Knight Xyz line. Going second, the side deck brings Dark Ruler No More, Evenly Matched, Nibiru, Cosmic Cyclone, Harpie's Feather Duster, and Dinowrestler Pankratops to clear space before committing the equip engine.
Choke points: Stop Heritage or Glory from finding the right half of the hand, remove the equipped Noble Arms before Medraut or Borz resolves, or negate Medraut before it summons from Deck. Graveyard disruption also matters because Until, Gwenhwyfar, Excaliburn, Eachtar, and the Noble Arms recursion all rely on cards staying available after the first exchange.
Key cards: Noble Knight Medraut, Noble Knight Borz, Noble Knight Custennin, Noble Knight Iyvanne, Noble Knight Gawayn, Morgan, the Enchantress of Avalon, Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms, Heritage of the Chalice, Glory of the Noble Knights, Noble Arms of Destiny, Noble Arms - Excaliburn, Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again, Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus.
Key combos: Medraut plus any Noble Arms equip becomes a Deck summon, usually finding Borz, Custennin, or Drystan while the destroyed Noble Arms re-equips. Borz plus an equip reveals three Noble Arms cards, putting one in hand and loading the GY for later Excaliburn or re-equip lines. Custennin extends when a Noble Arms is already active, then enables an extra Normal Summon through the Noble Knight Xyz it makes. Morgan turns any established Noble Knight plus Noble Arms into a surprise negate, and Excaliburn in the GY lets a Noble Knight Xyz become a different Artorigus Xyz while keeping its materials.
