The second of four decks lost recently that I built when I was younger. Most of my friends back then had a Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck, so naturally I built one too. It was my second favorite deck overall, but it mostly ended up with the leftover good cards from my collection. One of the few pros was that I actually had some duplicates in this deck.
I probably should have made it more of a pure Dragon deck, but I lost a lot of the key pieces during trades. Cards I had duplicates of like Lord of D. and Flute of Summoning Dragon ended up getting traded away before I created this deck. Some of those even went to my friends early on, which is kind of funny looking back.
None of us actually owned a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, so one of my friends made a laminated picture of it, and we just used that whenever someone wanted to summon it.
I also got fixated on including Sanga of the Thunder in one of my decks, and Mountain gave me just enough of a reason to throw him in here. I pulled Sanga randomly out of a pack my parents bought me at Walmart after I asked for it.
At one point I had Harpie Ladies and Harpie’s Pet Dragon in this deck too. I liked how the pet dragon looked, but it didn’t really work, so I took them out. I did keep a few Winged Beast monsters though.
Serpent Night Dragon was also in the deck for a while, but I eventually replaced it with Luster Dragon #2. Some of the cards I always wanted for this deck but never got included Tri-Horned Dragon, Tyrant Dragon, and the level 4 Luster Dragon.
Harpie’s Brother is called Sky Scout now. RIP
