This is my current Labrynth brew for the extra zero festival. This list is pretty standard labrynth stuff, just with Farewelcome Labrynth in the place of Welcome or Big Welcome Labrynth. The field spell in this list is more important than it is in standard Labrynth lists, so prioritize getting that online. When you play this deck you're trying to win a battle of a million cuts, so every bit of extra card advantage you can get matters. Lady Labrynth is probably more important to get out than lovely in this deck. Being able to search for answers off of any trap you play is very nice and helps you out-advantage your opponent. That's not to say that Lovely Labrynth is bad, but it's more situational than it would be in your standard ranked game.
So far I've gone 7-1 with this list, only losing to a high roll from a horus deck. With that, I think it's safe to say that Labrynth is a major contender for best deck in this festival, even though a lot of its best cards are banned or unplayable in the format.
Some ideas for potential changes:
- You often don't special summon during your turn with this deck, so I think you might be able to get away with including a Pot of Duality
- the solemn line-up of traps is always a consideration, though they don't feed into the Labrynth resource loop really since they're counter traps. Worth considering if you need more negation
- in the same vein, Breakthrough Skill might be worth running, especially if you decide to run a paleo package with the deck.
