Labrynth (Extra Zero Festival 2024)

Play this deck in the Extra Zero Festival for 2024! This variant of Labrynth focuses on Labrynth Archfiend and Farewelcome Labrynth to drain your opponent's resources. Labrynth Archfiend can special summon itself when a trap is activated, gains attack for each normal trap in your graveyard, and can set a normal battle trap from your deck whenever it is special summoned; these attributes make it a great late-game boss that can easily simplify game states. Farewelcome Labrynth is a battle trap that negates an attack, destroys a card on the field, and allows you to set a non-Labrynth normal trap from your hand or deck; this trap can quickly snowball the game in your favor if it resolves!

Counter traps can trigger Labrynth Archfiend's special summon effect.

You can special summon Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle and Labrynth Archfiend from your hand with Arias the Labrynth Butler's effect or hand and graveyard Labrynth Labyrinth's effect.

This deck struggles against Yubel and Horus decks, so if they establish a good board then it's best to scoop. They can outpace and recover faster than you. Remove Nightmare Pain and King's Sarcophagus to control the board. Opening of the Spirit Gates, Walls of the Imperial Tomb, Nightmare Throne, and Mature Chronicle are lesser priorities.
