Kaiba Deck - School Deck

Based on the Deck Kaiba used to battle Yugi for the first time (Manga).

It is based on a *possible* deck that Kaiba had before the iconic duel (in the manga, Kaiba attempted to steal Yugi's Blue-Eyes by giving him a fake one; he was then challenged to Shadow Game; needless to say that it went really well for him afterwards). Some filler cards were added that I felt made sense in this deck.

Without his iconic Blue-Eyes, Kaiba had 2 other well-known cards on his arsenal - Battle Ox and Megamorph.

Kaiba's name also means "Sea Horse" (or "Baby Dragon") and there's a mythical creature called "Hippocampus", a monster with the upper body of a horse and the lower one as a fish (quite litterally a Sea Horse), so no wonder one of his drops in Duel Links is actually "Tatsunootoshigo" (yeah, take a guess - it's "Seahorse" in japanese). That's also why I used a few WATER monsters in his deck. "Mystic Lamp" also refferences his future not-yet-used "La-Djinn".

His Side Deck refferences Yugi's stolen Blue-Eyes, or even Mokuba's custom "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card (Mokuba drew one for Kaiba and gave it to him, when they were younger). I'll leave that one to interpretation.
