Joey Wheeler - Black Skull Fusion [Low Rogue]

Power: Low Rogue (6.7/10) - This is a cleaner, fully TCG-legal Link Evolution build, but it stays Low Rogue because Red-Eyes Fusion locks your summons and the deck still commits to Red-Eyes Black Dragon plus Summoned Skull as named Joey materials.

Consistency: Good (7.4/10) - Red-Eyes Insight, Red-Eyes Fusion, Black Metal Dragon, Keeper of Dragon Magic, King of the Swamp, The Black Stone of Legend, and Pot of Extravagance give the deck several ways to reach a fusion line. The old Fusion Sage and Fusion Conscription package is trimmed away so fewer hands are just search cards plus no payoff.

Ceiling: Moderate-high (7.1/10) - The main threat is Archfiend Black Skull Dragon turning battle into burn pressure, with Meteor Black Comet Dragon loading Red-Eyes follow-up, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon covering the Gearfried line, Super Polymerization into Mudragon, Starving Venom, or Dragostapelia, and Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon when two Level 7s stick.

Recovery: Solid (7.0/10) - The Black Stone of Legend recycles itself and reloads Red-Eyes, Red-Eyes Spirit and Red-Eyes Fang with Chain are searchable follow-up, Monster Reborn and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon extend after trades, and Pot of Extravagance helps find the next fusion push.

Going first/second: Flexible, but happier going second. Going first, set up a fusion body with Red-Eyes Spirit, Fang, or Infinite Impermanence behind it. Going second, use Super Polymerization, Harpie's Feather Duster, Impermanence, or the side deck cards: Dark Ruler No More, Evenly Matched, Nibiru, Artifact Lancea, Twin Twisters, and Cosmic Cyclone.

Choke points: Stop Red-Eyes Fusion or Red-Eyes Insight before Archfiend Black Skull Dragon lands. Banish Red-Eyes targets before Spirit or Black Stone can recycle them. Remove Black Metal Dragon without letting it hit the GY if possible, and stop Keeper of Dragon Magic before it turns into Polymerization access.

Black Metal Dragon can be linked into Striker Dragon or used as material to search Red-Eyes follow-up. Keeper reveals a Fusion monster to revive a material, then King of the Swamp plus Polymerization gives a backup fusion route. The Black Stone of Legend summons Red-Eyes Black Dragon and later recycles itself. Super Polymerization converts opposing boards into Starving Venom, Dragostapelia, or Mudragon while still fitting the fusion-control plan.
