Decided it was time for an updated deck as there have been a few reprints within the TCG making some cards more affordable.
Strengths:
Ninjas are great at filling a board with monsters, allowing for extensive fusions from the archtype or outside with generic fusions.
While certain handtraps will brick this deck, it is very possible to play through certain ones such as Ash Blossom.
Ninjas are great at reycling cards from the graveyard. This can be done through Notebook of Mystery and Baku as they both can retrieve any ninja card from the grave including each other.
Lord of the Heavenly Prison is crucial for this deck. Protecting back row and having a generic search for any spell or trap call allow for extensive plays.
Weaknesses:
Ninjas as an archtype isn't splashable what-so-ever. Wont work with other archtypes that well.
Using any extra deck monsters that aren't ninja or generic becomes increasingly difficult due to stated above.
Hand traps determine turns, especially with the starting hand.
No Ninja Tuners :(
Things to Note:
Grandmaster Hanzo and Kagero are both the optimal starters as they allow for a search or special summon from the hand.
Lord of the Heavenly Prison as stated before issues back row protection, allowing for protection of continuous traps.
Saizo should be used for effect to search an Ninjitsu Art card then linked off immediatly.
Baku becomes extra useful once 2 or 3 Notebooks of Mystery are used, he allows for the recovery of them which then allows for seemingly infinite resources from grave.
Pot of Prosperity for consistency (add as many copies as you'd like).
If there is trouble keeping resources during longer games, Pot of Avarice can allow for great card draw and more deck resources.
Side deck is of course meta dependent, create at will.
