Ishizu Tearlament
Deck Primer
This deck's main goal is to use Ghost Reaper to banish Kaleido-Heart, Gigantic Spright, Spright Elf, Rulkallos, Kitkallos, Abyss Dweller, or Winda.
It all depends on the opponent's board. If a tearlament mirror match you want to banish Kaleido-Heart first because that is your greatest threat outside of the field spell. Rulkallos is dangerous but considering you have an 18% chance to start with an out to it, then the threat suddenly seems far less. If you resolve Maxx C, then your chances of drawing Triple Tactics gradually becomes even greater. Just let your opponent cook and patiently wait for the tactical answer.
Your ideal field has Gravekeeper's trap on field and exchange of spirit in grave to shutdown opponent's graveyard effects without relying on the temporary tranquility abyss dweller allows. If you managed to banish Kaleido-Heart then your likely safe to mill as much as possible in hopes of sending opponent's field spell.
If you lost the coin flip and are going second against a strong tearlament board use swamp king to add a polymerization to hand and set a monster face-down. This will avoid Tearlament's Scream, and Tearlament's Sullek effects. Activate polymerization to fusion summon Guardian Chimera. At which point you are untargetable and can pop your opponent's gravekeeper trap if they are using our grave effect lock.
If opponent has Rulkallos on field then before attempting to activate polymerization try and special summon a monster from hand to eat the special summon negate. You will have ~23% chance of starting hand having a monster that can be special summon from hand or instant fusion spell. The Rulkallos negate is hard once per turn so don't worry about it to much your going to show them you can cook too. Once the Rulkallos negate is over proceed with the Guardian Chimera play mentioned above.
Overall this list is pretty decent in mirror matches 11 Wins, 3 Loss. The 3 loss happened during ratio testing and adjusting the list so the results might be better than this rate. If you fight spright then use ghost reaper to banish gigantic and watch them rage quit. Exosister is a bit of a challenge to fight but once their XYZ monsters are all in grave then the battle is over. If you end up fighting a back row floodgate duel use Tearlaments heartbeat to remove one specifically 1 that limits your field like there can only be one or rivalry. Then Guardian Chimera, Kaleido-Heart, and Primeval Planet Perlereino can remove other backrow.
