The next wave of Infernoble Knight support releasing in duelist nexus, actually lets an Infernoble Knights exist as their own strategy without the use of Smoke Grenade of the Thief. Of course, what everyone really cares about isn’t this potential competitive relevancy of a briefly popular deck, its how we can use this strategy to enable one of the worst yet loved strategies in yugioh. It’s time to pretend that Noble Knights are playable.
So the current goal of Infernoble Knights it to make the new level 5 synchro monster Angelica, Princess of Noble Arms. She gives us a foolish burial of any Infernoble Knight monster plus a search for the field spell that lets us search for any noble arms cards. From this dump, we can easily go into Infernoble Knight King Charles and then Charlemagne for a double Charles plus a negate on the field. This is important for Noble Knights as at their most basic level Noble Knights function as a starter for this combo.
Noble knight medraut + Any infernoble equip spell
For example we can use noble knight Medraut plus any Infernoble equip spell to create an unhand-trappable starter. Medraut can summon any noble knight monster from our deck then pop an equiop spell equipped to him. If we special summon Infernoble Knight Renauld we can immediately add back the Equip spell we popped and then make Isolde off of out two monsters and go full infernoble knight combo. If the opponent attempts to use Ash Blossom or Infinite Impermanence on Medraut we just use the Infernoble Knight equip and go for fire flint lady of a different Infernoble depending on the hand. Thus making Isolde anyway.
Unexpected Dai + Gawayn
A much stronger combo is using Unexpected Dai plus Noble Knight Gawayn. Unexpected Dai is actually a fantastic extender in in the deck as it makes it extremely easy to get to Isolde. But if we have Gawayn we get to immediately special summon Gawayn as well. Of course we can go into Isolde here and we should. Isolde lets us then dump 4 equip spells to special summon gigachad. The 4 you dump are Destiny, Excaliburn, Durendal, and Almace. Then we can use gigachad’s effect to add back to hand Aawayn. Trust me you will have an equip live for this. While we could just make Apollosa here there’s a much better option.
Noble knight Artorigus as an extender
We can make Atorigus to equip 3 of the spells we just sent to graveyard with Isolde. This is a potential plus 2 as we can trigger out Infernoble Knight spells for searching. While the other equip spells make our XYZ into a towers monster in the process. This is the bread and butter of the deck making Atorigus while setting up for Infernoble Knight plays as a base. And tying this together is the absurd level of graveyard recursion this deck presents.
Custenian into Atorigus
We can use Charles’ effect to pop Custenian to immediately go into the rank 5 Atorigus. It works out as a way to remove 3 cards from the opponent’s field and recur value from our equip spells in the game. It’s a ridiculously good recursion especially since the rank 5 Atorigus also gets recursion when he leaves the field.
