Here's a mostly final product of my @Ignister Mathmech list for the upcoming ALIN format! I decided to remove Diameter for Subtraction as Diameter is a brick and isn't as needed despite it being able to be Special Summoned from hand by Desavewurm or discard as hand fodder for Factorial. While having that extra negate is handy going first, I believed that having more extenders going 2nd would be more valuable as this deck is very resistant to disruptions unless hit by Droll & Lock Bird. I got rid of Linguriboh as it wasn't doing much and added Firewall Dragon for extra disruption (I also recentely learned that Singularity has another eff to bring back Firewall). I used to run 3 Backup but I believe it's better to run 2 since I only have 2 other dark targets in deck and I can always search Backup off of my @Ignister spells if needed so it's fine.
I play a mostly standard list, but I run Code of Soul to link with 2 Matchmech bodies in case of Bystials in order to extend on my opp's turn if needed. I can use it to link into Firewall if needed or to play a recycled copy of Heatsoul or smth else if needed. Code of Soul is also an extender so it's very helpful. I run the Mathmech engine as it isn't bothered much by the @Ignister lines and is also easily searchable in the deck (Thanks to Connect being able to spec Doyon and search it or Cynet Mining) and can also further extend while getting you access to Factorial for massive removal/hand rips on the opp's turn. Sigma + Subtraction also serve as extenders if opened turn 1. For handtraps, it's pretty standard but I also main deck Droll with Crossout to have an ability to prevent myself from being Drolled on my turn, but I can also droll decks like Ryzeal, The mirror matchup, Blue-Eyes, Striker, White Forest, Azamina, or other decks that are common in the meta atm.
For my Side deck, I run 3 Lancea for the Maliss matchup or any other decks that are banish focused, 1 Duster and 1 Lightning Storm in order to deal with backrow decks or if I need to counter Deck Lockdown in order to combo going 2nd. 2 Triple Tactics Thrust to add my Duster or Lightning Storm for removal or for Talents to steal a monster going 2nd or handrip going 1st. Thrust is also useful for adding my combo extender spells in case I can't combo off well in a situation. 3 Book of Eclipse to counter Vanquish Soul (Which are usually resistant to removal effects and like to bounce their monsters), Ryzeal Detonator and Wave High King Caeser, or to counter negates. I run 1 D-Barrier and 2 Solemn Strike siding into 1st to deal with other decks and prevent them from building up a big board. Since @Ignister is very resilient, I can easily outplay their negates if played well. Finally, I run 2 Dimension Ground to counter the Memento and Mirror matchup since @Ignister can't build a good board without Dark Templar and Memento can't do anything without a GY. It can also counter a couple of other decks as well, so it's not bad too play.
