A Runick build sporting an Ice Barrier engine with the upcoming support.
The Runick engine has an interesting position in the metagames to come, doing good against Labrynth and doing ok against the fire decks, while the Ice Barrier engine opens strong options against Runick variants and has various ways to pressure the previously mentionned. Overall you don't have really bad match ups, Branded being threatened by the toolbox induced by the Ice Barrier engine.
This variant selling points are it's draw power (draw 7 first turn) with more stability and resilience than the Fur Hire one. Indeed it can easily play around Droll and Nibiru, and generally whistand multiple hand traps. The multiple searchers and extenders means you have a fair number of lines, making opponnent's hand traps more difficult to time and value, you can also directly synchro climb without Runick bodies. Finally the ability Ice Barrier has to make a Crocodragon for 4 in one card is a huge asset to grind in go second games since you can use your entire hand to climb boards then just draw a new one.
Like other Runick variant you definitely don't like Shifter and Droplet, even if your draw power will be a good way to finish your turn with wide combination of Runicks and survive the last mentioned. Part of your basic boards takes Super Poly, but you can play around if the card is a thing. The Voiceless Voice match up by itself isn't bad but can be a lot more difficult if your opponent has double Barrier, as it will cut the interactive side of your Runick spells and prevent your SP to ban 1 on the board.
