HERO - TCG Banlist 2020/10
Deck Primer
OVERVIEW
As we all know HERO is not always present when it comes to competitive scene, so I've tried various builds of it to fit in today's meta game. Fortunately I've found a build where it completely suits my playstyle which is an OTK with board wiping ability that has handtraps. It's consistency is a 10/10 to me when it comes to board wiping your opponent's field and it can dodge most of your opponent's targeting negeation since you have Vision HERO Increase, Mask Change, and Forbidden Droplet. Though in this build it's not a good idea to go 1st except when it's absolutely needed, the one condition of this HERO build when it goes 1st is that you need to have access to Mask Change or any handtraps in order to disrupt your opponent. The reason why i did not put Destiny HERO - Celestial and only put 2 Fusion Destiny is to decrease the chances of having a brick hand. Overall this deck is awesome to play especially when you know it's in and outs and how you expect what cards your opponent will negate.

HANDTRAPS EXPLANATION
- Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring - A standard handtrap since it's usable against any deck.
- Droll & Lock Bird - Since Maxx C is banned here in TCG, I've noticed that most combo decks are not afraid to continue their combo and most of them will not be stopped by 1 or 2 handtraps. So I've decided to use a handtrap that impacts them in a whole turn.
- Infinite Impermanence - A pretty handy handtrap since it you can use this on either player's turn considering you control no cards on the field.
SIDE DECK EXPLANATION
- Dinowrestler Pankratops - A free body card and can pop your opponent's card. Good card to use if you want to bait your opponent's negate.
- Artifact Lancea - A handy card to use against banish type deck.
- Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit - Since Numeron is still a thing in TCG, this card is a must.
- Mask Change - The single mask change that's in the side deck because this build is blind going 2nd. Side this in if you are planning to go 1st.
- Twin Twisters - A must have card against backrow decks. I was not planning to put this card if Pankratops is not limited.
- Prohibition - Since Crossout Designator is not available in TCG, this card is a must have if you don't want to get Nibiru'd
- Summon Limit - A substitute for Vanity's Emptiness since it's banned in TCG.
- Anti-Spell Fragrance - Kinda like Imperial Order so i put 2 of it.
- Imperial Order - Self explanatory card.
- Red Reboot - Another self explanatory card
REMINDERS
- Always keep in mind to bait your opponent's negation/disruption.
- As much as possible you want to activate another card before chaining Forbidden Droplet, so you can send that card on the field to the GY. That way you can save some resources.
- As much as possible avoid using a monster handtrap if you're oppoent doesn't have a monster on the field, you might get baited so that they can use PSY-Framegear Gamma.
