Why hecahands? Well, the spell can make your opp draw a card then discard a card, triggering the field spell.
Building off of that, there are tons of overlaps between the two decks which I will number in importance:
1. Both like being in the GY (vala, all level 6 hecahands, hecahand spell/traps) because droplet is an amaizing card, and it can be pretty easy to summon pilgrim reaper with nightmare apprentice.
2. The xyz's from either archetype can help go into the other one.
3. Hecahands love to thin the deck before they mill, often always letting you hit your generaider cards.
What to watch out for:
1. You really want to summon plant lady and grab the field spell in case you already did not have it to get that generaider from the deck.
2. You need some sort of generaider in hand to run generaider combos!
Lets do an example combo line:
Start with Hecahands -> activate (chain forbidden or nightmare quickplay or mulcharmy to chain block if you want to) -> grab ibtel -> ibtel reveal for breus -> breus grab monster (hopefully handtrap) from opp's hand -> contact fuse into hecahand fusion -> grab gaigas -> summon, banish and grab another monster -> zombie vamp & mill ->
---- right now you should have gigias and zombie vampire summoned ----
grab hopefully mardel or loptr boss of shadows for mardel -> mardel add field spell -> activate field spell
Now generally depending on how lucky you get with the mill, or if you have any extenders in the hand (vala I'm looking at you), you can really do some crazy things:
hitting vala during the mill part at all with any generaider in the hand lets you get another generaider with vala (generally the plant lady searching the field like always) then you can xyz the fairy xyz tribute the fairy xyz to go the other xyz generaider to make your opp draw a card special summoning a generaider from the deck (maybe storms). Then if you want to play it safe: link off the xyz generaider zombie vampire and gaigas (not the one you summoned, generally you grabbed storms to get some negates out) to go the promethean princess line.
And with the gas you usually get from mill and draw, you can summon reaper, go into legion, and have an endboard with legion, kashtira, salamangreat phoniex with princess in GY (a recursive pop), storms for a negate and a hand rip, and either some hecahand on field with a counter trap, or the quickplay to summon the hecahand xeno fusion with another snatch.
Ofc this is only a one card combo with some variance but you will always at least end up with zombie vamp, gaigas, and the field spell it feels like and more than often you can end up doing some crazy stuff based on what happens in your hand.
Some weird ratios like the nightmare hands and nightmare apprentice at one because I don't want to run into OPT locks and I want maximum gas possible to run the extra deck cards to build generaider things.
The side deck contains a nasty idea I came up with. Essentially we love diviner because it always drops vala, or if you don't want to it can drop n'tss and become a level 6 for pilgrim, and pop a card. Diviner can also be tributed to summon despia card, which can then recycle the fallen, but it feels niche. Also the antimatter dragon can also drop it off of vala. To run this I think you would need some more generaider to make vala more consistent and cut a little of the hecahand stuff. Much more of a going second package and I haven't tested it out thoroughly enough yet though. I would love to figure out the ratios for that, but I am happy with the deck I have made right now. Guess I am just happy to play hecahands lol.
One thing to note is that antimatter dragon can mill almost any monster card from these generaider things, but I have yet to find the best target.
If I had to actually choose a side deck, it would be 1 Darklord Gulgolet, 3 solemn report, 1 solemn judgement, 2 ash blossom, 2 ghost belle, 2 droll, 1 rivalry of warlords, and 3 of your card of choice (should be 15).
Please ask questions/critique/give suggestions! This is one of the decks I am consistenly working on!
