Generaider has been a rogue option for years since it's release back at 2019 with the deck build pack Mystic Fighters. In turn, it's lore-related sister archetype Runick has released in Tactical Masters in 2022. There has always been a connection in the archetypes with Loptr and the respective Generaider bosses appearing in the artworks of both archetypes, but there never has been a competitively viable way to mix both archetypes... Until now!!!
With the release of the Masterduel Selection pack Blazing Arena comes the last crucial piece to connect both archtypes - Sleipnir the Runick Mane.
Summonable by any Runick quick-play spell, this noble steed is a level 9 - an additional free body to assist with Generaider combos! This allows for easier access to Laevatein, Generaider's "XYZ superpoly," or it allows for the "double handloop -> F0 Utopic Draco Future" combo to be easier to accomplish. It is banishing interruption which helps clear boards. On top of that, it also generates tokens everyturn, just like Generaider Boss Stage!
Sleipnir is a definitely a force multiplier when combining both Generaider and Runick together - allowing for the creation of a incredibly powerful grindy control strategy!

ARCHETYPES AND DECKBUILDING
As the name implies, Generaider Runick is mainly composed of the two archetypes.
The GENERAIDER part of the strategy is composed of 17 cards. It's role is to spam out as many level 9 bodies as possible for R9NK 9 plays. If you can summon 2 level 9 bodies, Laevateinn is usually the best play, since it has the incredibly powerful removal effect to attach anything in the field/GY as a quick effect - essentially a "xyz super poly." During the occassional time when you can summon four level 9 monsters (usually helped by World Legacy Monstrosity/Runick Spell summoning Sleipnir), the double handloop with Enterblathnir -> Utopic Draco Future is the ideal play. During your opponent's turn, Generaider Boss Stage summons Harr for an omni-negate or Utgarda for a banish. Repeat plays every turn until you have your opponent defeated by your superior grindgame!
RUNICK offers an alternative win condition of this deck by banishing your opponent's deck. Runick also increases the deck's consistency and grindgame since it allows for a draw 1-3 per turn. Finally with Runick, it gives Generaider an additional level 9 body to make XYZ plays with. Runick spells also break opponent's boards fairly well when played correctly in tandem with the other archetypes, especially when Sleipnir is summoned, since it can either banish a card on the field or be material for Laevateinn's XYZ superpoly. Runick offers solid defensive options, with Hugin protecting against destruction effects, Munin protecting from targeting effects and Geri dissuading the opponent from attacking.
The rest of the deck is composed of STAPLES. The usual "Maxx C Minigame" package is included along with the Psy-Frame package allowing for maximum chance to win the annoying but mandatory cockroach interactions. Thankfully, this deck plays really well into Maxx C and Nibiru, since it doesn't have to summon a lot per turn - it can simply activate either Boss Stage or Fountain and pass. Nibiru and Imperm are included as Crossout targets.
43 cards are included in the deck since everything important (like Boss Stage and Fountain) is highly searchable and to reduce the chances of drawing into garnets like Psy-Frame Driver or Generaider Harr/Utgarda. Even if you draw into these garnets, they can be used as discard cost from hand when searching Fountain with Hugin.
COMBOS AND GAMEPLAN
The strategy of Generaider Runick is to control/banish your opponent's resources until they surrender or deck-out. In certain situations, you can also enter the battle phase and OTK your opponent with your army of Generaider bosses/R9NK 9s when your opponent is helpless enough and they haven't surrendered yet. The ridiculous resource advantage and control options each archetype gives the duelist should win them the duel in most circumstances.
Generaiders function as a control strategy, negating and interrupting your opponent until your giant beatsticks can attack for game. Generaider combos are simple since the strategy is so straightforward and with Runick cards, you have an easily accessible level 9 body since every Runick quick-play spell is like an "instant fusion!" These combos may be simple, but they end on an omni-negate, "XYZ superpoly," and possibly even handloops!

The deck's endboard is generally is the same. It usually ends on Laevateinn + Boss Stage (ready to summon Harr/Utgarda on opponent's turn) but the duelist may end on Utopic Draco Future's monster negate/steal and a few set Runick cards. For some odd reason the endboard may also end on Runick Fountain and lean on the Runick strategy if you were unable to access Boss Stage.
With the unique control and resource advantage both Generaider and Runick offers, your opponent should wither away while you snowball to victory!
