My most "Budget" (under 60$/Euros) Ghoti deck using 1 or more engine/s, Supay, (Lifeless Leaffish, and Beautunaful Princess), and 2 tech cards, Icejade Ran Aegirine and Hop Ear Squadron.
Not a very competitive deck or meta, can die often to handtraps. Pretty consistent, but needs more trials to see if it really works that well. Tried to stay under 60$/Euros by all means by the current shown prices, even if we lose some power/consistency.
A number of Ghoti MONSTERS:
2x Snopios, Shade of the Ghoti , using a 3rd one might brick more often,
2x Ixeep, Omen of the Ghoti , using a 3rd would brobably brick, and may be unnecessary,
1x Zep, Ruby of the Ghoti , because I found that it is not that useful in hand or field, can add one though,
3x Shif, Fairy of the Ghoti , the main way to synchro but if done on opponent's turn after returning from banishmet you can only summon FISH,
3x Paces, Light of the Ghoti , the main way to synchro but if done on opponent's turn after returning from banishmet you can only summon FISH.
3x Lifeless Leaffish and 3x Beautunaful Princess : I found them very useful, basically you can begin your combos.
On the other hand, 3x Minairuka , 2x Silent Angler , can't say that I like them because their effects are a bit restraining (i.e. Minairuka negates opponent's effects ONLY on OUR TURN and is not a Quick Effect, and Silent can special itself if we control another water monster BUT we can't special from our hand for the rest of the turn which on one instance bricked me)... However they are pretty cheap and might be useful in other ways.
3x Supay, Duskwalker and 1x Supay : The main engine outside of Ghoti. 1 Supay because it isn't useful, alone in hand, without Duskwalker, and 3 Duskwalkers because they are pretty good, require a discard (most of the times I discard Shif if in hand). Maybe they can be cut to 2 because you only have 1 Supay and once in grave, you can't get it back.
I tried 2 techs:
1) 3x Icejade Aegirine : I was impressed by it's usefulness: Discard 1 Water monster, special summon it (lvl 7 Tuner) and activate to summon a lvl 3 Token. After that you can synchro to your level 10s, basically Supreme Chengying and if I remember correctly in general level 10s. Can be done turn 1 too!
2) 3x Hop Ear Squadron : On opoonent's turn, target 1 monster you control, special the card and then immediately synchro. Basically levels 6, 8 or 10 will be at your service if the correct numbers are on field! Ghoti of the Deep will still activate and banish!
SPELLS: 1x The Most Distant, Deepest Depths (can add another copy but not sooo useful a spell), 1x Gold Sarcophagus (ummm, idk, with a good hand it can banish a Shif or Paces and then return) it is supposed to boost consistency as well as 2x Pot of Desires (can get you out of trouble, banish 10 cards. Chenying can boost its ATK by 1000 I THINK), 1x Terraforming (to search for field spell), 1x Called by the Grave .
TRAPS: 1x Dimensional Barrier (might be useful once you know opponent's strategy) and 1x Ghoti Chain (can also save you a material or Ghoti monster).
EXTRA DECK:
2x Ghoti of the Deep Beyond lvl 10, pretty big monster on turn 2 or 4 since you need materials in banishment to gain massive ATK (3500+), weak to destruction,
2x Askaan, the Bicorned Ghoti lvl 8, most useful,
2x Arionpos, Serpent of the Ghoti lvl 6, main tech - synchro,
1x Guoglim, Spear of the Ghoti lvl 8, never used him, can be cut too and add another 6 or 8 of the others,
1x Icejade Gymir Aegirine lvl 10, strong, can be useful if opponent starts destroying/banishing,
1x Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying lvl 10, strong, but weak to banishments,
1x Adamancipator Risen - Dragite lvl 8, negate and destroy spell/trap if a Water monster in your GY,
1x Ruddy Rose Dragon lvl 10, can banish all cards on both GY once summoned, very cool for Ghoti and Chen,
1x Satellite Warrior lvl 10, target cards your opponent controls, up to the number of Synchro Monsters in your GY; destroy them, gains 1000 ATK for each card destroyed (if 3 then 5500 ATK),
1x Metaphys Horus lvl 6, *Effect Monster: you can target 1 other face-up card on the field; negate that target's effects permanetly,
1x Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon lvl 8, basically can become a pretty big ATK dragon and negates effects,
1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier lvl 6, discard any number of cards to the GY, target the same number of cards your opponent controls; return those cards to the hand (ummm I think that might be useful at times).
In my opinion, ANYTHING BELOW Ruddy Rose can be changed if you want and add more copies or monsters, according to budget. **Note that Paces' and Shif's effects, summon FISH monsters and anything else needs to be summoned on your own turn.
Cards not used because of their cost and thought that synergy was not affected without them in this version: (1) Abyss Shark engine and (2) Number 4: Stealth Kragen, (3) White Aura Whale (12 euros is too much for a card for me, and being on budget below 60 is the only option to cut it, since it needs to be the first thing in a Chain to be summoned and can be easily "missed on timing"). Ash, Psy-Gamma, Infinite, Solemn, Evenly, Crossout D, Baronne, Accel Stardust, Stardust Dragon, Psychic End Punisher, Link monsters can all be implemented and cut some other cards. It will boost its consistency and competitiveness!
Tell me your thoughts and oppinions on how we can push this to more power on low budget! *Forgive me if I messed some things up, I'm pretty new to Yu-Gi-Oh, coming from Master Duel...*
