Flame Swordsman 2024

Switched from Flame Swordsman/Red-Eyes, to more of a pure Flame Swordsman deck. Although I'm not playing it anymore, I'm keeping the other deck profile up and making this new one. There is a lot of space for hand traps in this deck which is really great.

One thing thats kind of nice, is that if you don't open any of your 1 card combos, and you open Fusion Armament with Bradamante, you can still Fuse into Ultimate Flame Swordsman or Fighting Flame Dragon.

By the time I had finished the main deck, I realized that I had a lot of tuners, so I tried to throw in some random Fire Synchro monsters in that are relatively easy to summon. Black Rose can either be summoned off of Ash plus Flame Swordsman, or Roland plus Salamandra. Ruddy can be summoned off of either Gearfried plus any of the 1 star tuners, or Black Rose, plus Ash. Roland can be summoned off of Flame Swordsman plus any 1 star, or Salamandra plus Ash. I decided to cut 1 of each Flame Swordsman Fusion monster for 2 more link monsters. Knightmare Phoenix, and Pitknight Earlie.

Promethean is great. Also running only Fire types in the extra deck so you never get locked out of any special summoning, aside from Nibiru. I changed Lava Golem in the main deck to Nibiru because you can't lava golem and full combo the same turn, which is too much of a draw back to use it.

Edit: Concluded from playtesting that 3 Ultimate Flame Swordsman and 3 OG Flame Swordsman were manditory for grindy games.
